    Kinda looks like a cool patch, but I don't know how valuable it is as a signal that you're a freeflier. I've been nomadic for a while and I've jumped at more than 30 DZ's from Northern Canada to Southern Argentina.     You don't necessarily need to knock the netbook for keyboard/video reasons. I'm running a netbook bacause it's small and cheap, but I've got no issues with keyboard or video. I'm sitting on my sofa typing on a Bluetooth keyboard and I'm using my 50" plasma as a monitor. Even when using the Netbook's own keyboard/monitor, I don't have any issues. I had a Dell mini 9 and that keyboard was a real pain in the ass, but with the 10 I can type at full speed with no issues. I've not had problems with the monitor, but I haven't been using it for extended periods of time either I got nuthin

    Glad to hear you're still around! I don't want to sound like I'm preaching (I've only been off the cigarettes for 10 days), but I went from smoking over a pack a day for 14 years to smoking nothing and it's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. If you decide you want to quit, check out 'The Easy Way to Quit Smoking' by Allen Carr. It was recommended to me by a DZ.commer when I came on here and said that I was going to quit (that was an attempt last year that lasted about 3 weeks). The mindset that the book got me into helped, and continues to help, me through this initial stage of recovering from the nicotine addiction. Again, I'm glad to hear that things worked as well as they did and I wish you the best of health! I got nuthin

    I blew out something in my sinuses on jump #1 there. Stupidly did 2 more jumps from altitude. After spitting up blood for two days and watching other people have fun jumping I said the hell with it. I just got home an hour ago It was a great time with a lotta great people while I was there.     I just rented my transportation/accommodation. As soon as I finish up a few more things at work I'm hitting the road!     Cliffs of Dover is one of my favorite songs of all time. 'Manhattan' is another favorite of mine from him. I love the music for how technical it is and at the same time I'm amazed by how much feeling it conveys. Like others have said, I don't think there is a 'best guitarist' but I certainly consider Eric Johnson to be in the top 10 for such a title. I'd never seen this live version of Cliffs of Dover with the 6-minute intro, thanks for that!

    +1 In high school I smoked a lot but after I found skydiving I just decided that I'd rather spend my money on the sport. Plus with my work I could be called upon to pee in a cup at any moment. It's just not worth it for me anymore. I got nuthin
