My understanding (and I'm sure somebody will correct me if I don't have this right) is that the recordings were made in NY state where only one party of a conversation is required to consent to a recording of the conversation. I think that the conversation would normally be protected under attorney-client privilege, had Trump not given up any claims to that privilege. What amazes me is how a smug asshole like Trump can become President because his opponents are even worse smug assholes. This Country desperately needs a third party. If we don't get a successful challenger to the Democrat and Republican lock out of the last election then nothing will ever do it. we currently have the best president that we've ever had in your and my lifetime. The Left has been embroiled in a cultural war against America since the advent of the children of the '60s. President Trump is our first wartime president in this cultural war. The progressive left cannot be bargained with any longer. It must be summarily defeated. The strategy, as I see now, is to make America economically and militarily strong and secure our borders and thus stop illegal immigration. The progressive left can only intensify the hatred and conflict of the division. They are well rooted in the shadow government and the deep state. They must be systematically uncovered and moved to a position of neutrality. The cultural war is similar to the cold war. Let us all hope and pray that we can tear down the wall before the nuclear option is mandatory. So we've been in a war since the '60s but trump is the first wartime president of this war. I'm definitely not a 'Pit Bull Apologist' and I've never owned one and never intend to. You make good points but it does seem unfair to blame the breed. As has been mentioned before, the breed tends to attract people who don't really qualify as 'loving dog owners' in any sense of the term and so you end up with this combination of an incredibly powerful dog with no discipline and perhaps some anger issues due to its home life. A Shih Tzu in the hands of an asshole could be just as bad of a dog, it just wouldn't do the same damage. Again, I don't have a dog in this fight and I agree with your point that it's not only a matter of blaming the owners, but nor is it a matter of only blaming the dogs. I got nuthin
