I saw one show with the clip of the guy who's jumpsuit got caught and he landed hanging from the cessna. I assume they were talking about his Cypres when they said the plane had to decelerate to a speed below 78mph or an emergency device would fire his parachute. Thing was, they were talking forward speed. They even had a little speedometer to show the veiwing audience when the plane had reached a safe speed. Good thing too, I know I was nervous I got nuthin

If it's the one I think he's talking about it's in freefall. 2 guys did a PFF-style exit with the guy on his 2000th, and he handed out beer to people who flew in to receive. It's some pretty sweet video. I got nuthin

Well, it's happened. I knew it was only a matter of time. 3 out of 4 Alberta DZs are shut down for the winter, which means Edmonton Skydive Center is the only option. Don't get me wrong, ESC is one of my favs, they're a great crew, but I got no wheels, which means a long greyhound ride, which costs a jump more than it costs to get to the home DZ. Dah well, I guess this is what bein Canadian is all about. I got nuthin
