So lets say there's this guy, who's going to the LP boogie this summer. He's from a place where he is legal drinking age, but may be just a little shy of 21. Although I, um, I mean this guy is a very responsible drinker, and would only be buying beer to share with fellow DZ.commers for his first boogie, would he be, say, subject to getting carded or fined, or is it fairly liberal there? I know how you feel. I got through last week at work saying: Just three more days, I'm jumpin, just two more days... Then my buddy who was gonna lend me his car called and said it's in the shop. I even called everywhere to try to rent a car but you gotta be 21. At least its real clowdy, but who knows what its like at the DZ? Fuck I'm pissed off. Whuffo you sit on that couch all day? I don't think I've ever even seen a Wings, but I just bought my first rig, a Reflex, Sabre 170, PDR and Cypress. I have about 10 jumps on my Sabre, all of them while learning to pro-pack, and not a slammer yet (knock on wood). But let me tellya I love my Reflex. The flapplets over the pop-top are great, and there is ZERO main bridle exposure. It's comfy as hell too. Again, I don't know anything about a Wings, so I ain't saying its a bad rig, but the Reflex is a good one. And to repeat what other people have said, the extra 300 bucks will be good to have, for an alti, jumpsuit, beer, or jumps. My ultimate advise would be to jump both, and see what you like better. So I've been helping a buddy from work finish his basement for the past few months. I started when it was nothing but concrete, and now, aside from a few finishing touches, its a damb nice basement suite. I never asked for anything in return for my services, other than a few beers to make the work go smoother. Well yesterday he was telling me how much he appreciated my help, and I said its not a problem, your just lucky I don't have a car, cause I'd be out jumping instead, and BANG!!!, he offers me a lend of his porsche to go jumping next weekend. I'm gonna be arriving in style. I guess good things do come to those who wait
