Reference: Cruising Under Canopy pictorial in the December Parachutist Mag. In the lower left corner, the guy that's twisted around backwards under his canopy has something hanging down under his right leg. What is it?

No it's not. It's a thread about having "The Last Word." -
Working or retired? If working, what does he do?
-
Didn't think of that. Also, I have a job that allows me to work (and post-whore) from anywhere in the country. Just gotta get those kids raised.
-
You freak!! Seriously, I would have done the same thing if my wife would have let me.
-
I'm 47 and think about retirement. Don't know if I'll ever get to, but getting a small RV and following the warm weather around the country and jumping for a few years sounds pretty good. Anyone out there doing it or know someone that is?
-
You guys must not have kids if you think that's a fair trade.
-
Excellent advise. Thanks all.

Should a 12 year old child have a cell phone? I'm not talking about the kind that only calls 3 or 4 numbers. I've got two 12 year old girls that want phones. They do not need them. They are rarely out of the sight of either my wife or myself. However, they want them. My old school sensibilities say no way. What do you think?

I'm now taking bets on how long it takes this to get moved to speaker's corner.

Took a while, but I did it

Pretty simple: Diving exit 1 barrel roll 360 right 360 left forward to dock turn & track We were jumping from 10K, so that's about all the time we had. The test was straight out of the SIM. Just read the Chapters and category quizzes several times and you'll ace it. -

The dive was easy. Better study all those category quizzes in the SIM. If you can answer those, you're fine. -

Finally got my "A" license today. Aced the dive and the test. Ready to start learning!!! -
How bad were you hurt?
-
I did, but since I had PMs disabled, he could not reply. It's fixed now. I look forward to hearing what he has to say.

What an idiot!! They're on now. Thanks!!

Hi Folks, I'm wanting to start a website similar to Dropzone.com except it will not be related to skydiving. Can anyone give me advice on hosting services or templates? Anyone with information on you this site operates would be very helpful. The site I'm wanting to build will be related to politics. Thanks, Ken

Heck yes, it's normal. I have the same problem. One thing that helps me is to just hang out for a while and watch a couple of loads come down. That's helps me calm down. Don't worry about what other people think. Anyone who has been in the sport for any period of time has seen all kinds of strange reactions to fear. Think of experienced jumpers as being like doctors. No need to be embarassed around them when they see you not at your emotional best. This sport is all about FEAR, especially at first. Some days you will react to it well and other days you will not. Just like everyone else that is new. The main thing is to not give up. It will get easier later.
