    That's "Bull Sluice." At normal water levels you can jump in with your life jacket just above the final drop and just zoom through without a boat. It's a pretty wild ride.

    SkyMama is right, you can't go wrong with the N.O.C.. The Ocoee and Chatooga are quite different. The Ocoee is very close to the highway and is almost continuous rapids. It is also incredibly crowded. The Chatooga is more of a pool/drop/pool/drop kind of a river but the rapids are still great. It's also much more of a wilderness experience. If you have a lot of newbies, go on section 3. Section 4 is a LOT more serious. Can't tell you what the crowds are like on the Chatooga nowadays. I used to kayak it about 25 years ago. Dang!! Am I that old?

    Call the manufacturer and ask them if they have any slip over leg pads. I am having the same problem and called Altico today. Mike spent about a half hour with me on the phone. He maded them up today and they are already on the way.

    Am I going to have to explain every post?? Joe said "Midwest Legend Jimmy Coiner" would be there so I said this Arkansas Nobody (ME) was going to be there, too. It was the juxtaposition of "Midwest Legend" and "Arkansas Nobody" along with the self-depreciation of drawing attention to my lack of experience that was intended to be slightly humorous. Sorry. It won't happen again.

If you read my post it would be rare for me to use the f-bomb so your statement is confusing to me and as far as my talent. do you even know me to make judgement on my talents, because I don't know you. I would have contacted you in a pm, but you do not have that activated in your profile. Joe Whoa!!! No offense intended. I was directing that comment at Fletch, the originator of this thread. I was referring to an earlier conversation we had. Inside joke and all that stuff.

    Bill, I have a PD 9 cell 230. I weigh 195. The canopy has about 80 jumps on it. How many do you think it has left? Thanks
