Which gives rise to the question. Who is worse Trump or Benedict Arnold.
-
Well Duh. A woman in a position of power over a uneducated white man. How more oppressive can you get. Hold my beer while I check her e-mails for the evidence.
-
He likely forgot how Trump personally sold out a US ally during his "peace talks". Or how Trump pressured the Afghan government to release over 5,000 Taliban fighters before the talks even got started. i.e. before consulting with the Afghan government. Here is the chronology of events according to FactCheck.org.

Or create winners. It's his weekend as well and for that he deserves a salute. and to the victors go the rewards:

I gotta go with Joe on this one. One thing about trump he sure brings out the passion in politics.
-
Bigun wants to be seen as a victim? I've never met him but I doubt thats the case. Or do you mean that trump wants to be the victim?

Voters vote for many reasons. Most identify with a few, perhaps 10-15 major reasons. Then narrow it down to a half dozen issues of most importance. For some its guns, government involvement in the economy, religion, the USSC, military spending, etc. Not everyone is a political animal so to speak like the participants in this forum. Most people tune out issues that they think don't effect their lives. That doesn't make them stupid, racists, fascists, etc. Its why most republicans don't recognize the dangers associated with trump. The US survived one experience with the cancer of trump. It would survive another. But I wouldn't wish cancer on most anyone.

To some extent, "what can they do". Look at the last remaining republican politician with a backbone, Liz Cheney. Look at Rick Wilson the founder of the Lincoln Project a 30 year republican. Author of the acclaimed book "Everything Trump touches dies". Once a master manipulator, politician, populist gains control of the reins of a party. i.e. the nomination process. Only radiation and a cocktail of poisons will kill it.

Agree this election should be a slam dunk for Biden. But he has done little to deal with mass immigration issues on the southern border. Done little to control spending, the $8.5 billion subsidy to Intel is a good example. He has implemented more protectionist trade subsidies than trump did. He could have let another democrat run given his lack of personal appeal due to his age. But these criticisms should all be in the Biden critics thread.
-
Agree. Its gets lost in the noise sometimes but about 50% of all Americans are republicans. IMO only 10% are racists. Keep in mind that democrats have racists in their party as well.
-
It should all be more accurately called fascist tendencies. But in order to penetrate the apathy of many people a certain hyperbole is necessary.

'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Trump does the same things over and over again and gets away with it.

Its very interesting how quickly the combination of power and cash can corrupt. Nikki Haley is the most recent to visit her neurologist to assess the damage from her latest u-turn. -

Nice to see that Trump's pick for Russian ambassador is trying to improve relations. It lays the groundwork(no pun intended) for new Trump hotels in Russia and Ukraine. I wonder if he'll cover the planning for the new Russian republic called Ukraineistan. -
When you're paying for a nuclear program sometimes politicians have to make sacrifices by using a 45 year old helicopter.

Agree Allahu Akbar. After Putin he would be #2 asshole that deserves a bullet. Unfortunately the way Iran is there are many others just like him.

I'd have thought that the Mossad would be too busy in the West Bank.

Doesn't help at all. I can't see the computer monitor because of all the forest fire smoke in the air. Hopefully the wind will change then blow from the south and I can try tomorrow. -

Agree, hence trump's rising popularity in the battle for the poorly educated, below a May 9th poll: Biden will have to win three, perhaps four of these battles. In other news DJT stock was saved by Russian cash His stock is up 267% in the last six months and now has a market cap of 7.64 billion. Trump's share of that is about $5 billion. No word yet as to who is driving up the price of DJT stock. DJT stock had revenue of $4.1 million in revenue last year. -
IMO politicians and corruption hasn't changed since early civilization. Taxation laws has certainly stratified incomes in some western countries. The internet and 24 hour news has opened up new almost unlimited sources of news. It has also allowed some to surround themselves with ideological self fulfilling news sources.
