Agree guaranteed Trump wouldn't have known how many miles of border Finland shares with Russia. Trump would have had no specifics about anything. Biden's answers were intelligent and well conceived. As are many democrats and those who understand the issues. Unfortunately I have to agree with: The low information voter is another name for the ignorant voter. There is just not enough margin for error to risk a Trump win. IMO Biden should step down. Too many Americans don't understand what the 2025 plan is about. Too many are busy trying to make tight budgets stretch and falsely believe Trump will improve it.

Even if Trump starts a trade war with China and a real one with Iran? Iran is very close to nuclear weapons. They are undoubtedly trading their missiles to Russia for technology. Iranian proxies in Lebanon are pushing Israel closer and closer to war.

Joe's rosy view of US politics and institutions. Gets wrecked by Ken and reality.

Jerry is right to be concerned about a Trump win. Some NATO members are already holding back normally shared intelligence from the US. Worry about a Trump administration and what leakage of that intelligence is driving the new silence.

The Lincoln project has Trump's father talk to Donald from the grave. A You-Tube video.

Slowest start to Atlantic hurricane season…

Biden could nod off or tune out during important discussions and debate. But since he surrounds himself with intelligent council that has its loyalty to the constitution of the US. Admittedly a flawed constitution. Good decisions would still be the result. Trump could zone out in his mind, wondering how many Big Macs he should have for breakfast for example. His yes men hacks might take his ramblings to mean anything. Since all of the moderates have been driven out of the GOP. What wackball (2025) policies are you dreaming about come Jan 20th? Trump firing the entire IRS?

Yeah but come spring you have FREE material to grow huge potatoes, carrots, vegetables, etc.

Canadians suffer from a British heritage(France excluded in this example). So a somewhat indifference to looking after their teeth is a part of that. Naturally with the constant bombardment of American TV where straight teeth, bleached smiles, etc. are illustrated as necessary for success. The Canadian government just came out with a new national program for free dental care. So the trough decision was made, quarterly cleanings, bleaching, x-rays, etc. Or nuclear attack submarines to replace the three Canadian subs that haven't sailed in years. So when the US sends hurricanes to Canada. They will be met with straight teeth and brilliant smiles. Thanks America. -

Actually they are somewhat. In US states where insurance costs are well regulated the costs are somewhat close to risks. But in GOP states where "free markets" rule. They pay costs well beyond the liability: The red areas in the image on the left show areas with the most risk. The image on the right showing red areas where homeowners pay premiums 2-3 times the actual risk. ALL in GOP predominant counties. Gotta just love the stupidity of GOP leadership. Typically republican they drink their own Kool-Aid where competition and good corporations will protect the public. NYT story yesterday. By somewhat, insurers are pulling out of many markets and premiums are jumping 10-15% a year in many areas. -
Here is a fact for you. In the US the traditional heterosexual nuclear family has accounted for less than 1/2 of all families for more than a decade. Furthermore that demise is accelerating. So in the republican mind is that the reason for the demise of American society?

Trump is a master of propaganda hence the name Truth Social. Pravda was not named that by coincidence. Its like his walk back on abortion now to appeal to moderates. After election Project 2025 will be front and center. Its my understanding that conservatives have drafted it all. So Trump may not accept all of its platforms. But it will become core to the GOP future under Trump.
-
Thats it in a nutshell yet Trump leads Biden in polling. Trump stated "I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them." Does anybody here think that this is truthful?

Lied for years???? Biden has done a fine job as president so what were these lies that the D's were telling? Biden likely has issues going forward with regards to his cognitive functioning. Trump on the other hand will be Trump until the Big Mac tunes him out in a massive coronary.
-
All true, but you forgot to mention that lying his his most natural state. Also forgot that for his base any lie or twist of the facts is immediately accepted as the new position. Its like his stance on abortion which is now being softened to distance himself from his base and judicial appointments.
-
100% correct. Biden is in it until he isn't He is certainly not going to show a lack of confidence while he is trying to keep everyone onboard.

So akin to yourself then?

GOP core beliefs are neatly stated in a NYT article today: "Steve Nagel, a chiropractor and talk radio host based in North Dakota, has frequently claimed that vaccines of all types lead to worse health outcomes for children. Demi Kouzounas oversaw a party platform as the chairwoman of the Maine state Republican committee that defined the teaching of nonbinary genders in public schools as “child sexual abuse.” David Barton, an amateur Texas historian, has long called the separation between church and state a “myth.” All three are among the 112 delegates serving on the Republican Party’s national platform committee, which will assemble in Milwaukee on Monday to spend the next two days writing the first G.O.P. platform since 2016. The primary goal is a “short form” 2024 document that is a pledge of allegiance to former President Donald J. Trump rather than the statement of party values the platform has traditionally been, according to interviews with a dozen of platform representatives and other Republicans. Mr. Trump’s top campaign advisers, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, have already stated their intention of producing a “streamlined platform,” with policy specifics kept to a bare minimum." Soon to be regurgitated views on FOX and by other trump supporters. I guess this new ideology and core beliefs has replaced QAnon theory.

That explains why knuckle dragging seems to be a common theme in his opinions.
-
Its mind blowing that numbers like that receive almost no coverage in the news anymore. Every year life is getting cheaper and cheaper.
-
And speaking of enemies. It seems as if revenge is the new GOP psychology. Kevin McCarthy, ex GOP house speaker has taken aim at eight fellow republicans who voted him out of office. Then made it his new life objective of screwing them over or getting them thrown out of office. He has gone so far as directing $6 million in spending to get one of them defeated in a primary. I wonder if they lose in November if they will all start eating each other.

Once a storm becomes a hurricane it is given a name to identify it. -
Trump has proven that the US constitution has holes in it big enough to drive battleships through. i.e. Impeachment The purpose of checks and balances. The nomination process of the USSC. The three independent arms of the state. etc. Oh well, its the greatest place on the planet and far superior to shithole countries.
