    I just happened to pick Norway because it was the best example from the originating post. Now I know Norway is a soft point for conservatives. I.E. trump,immigrants from "shithole countries" v Norwegian immigrants....

    Because responsible use of resource incomes is the elephant in the room. The $1.7 trillion US fund which represents $300k for every man woman and child in Norway. Alberta $22 billion CDN, Texas $24 billion. Both Texas and Alberta spend instead of saving whereas Norway saves the most. Few other jurisdictions save natural resource revenues.

    Probably the best single argument as to why the US is not the best country in the world. WTF is it with Norway: EV sales 91.5% market share .But the US does have permitless carry!

    Agree, abit. Except for the fact that trump, FOX and many of his followers have freely chosen to view it as unjust, corrupt. Its not really over until the appeals court and the USSC uphold the verdict. i.e. Trump appointed judges. trump will go into the republican convention with a staff of yes people. All parroting the idea that justice in America is corrupt. Its mostly not. But trump and many in the republican party will further use this verdict to destroy the trust in government that its people should have. IMO its kind of like a sour candy. A second factor is the increased danger to peace that this verdict will bring. trump will only double down. As will many of his followers.

    Well many Christians want to turn back the clock. They pander to the public when they say the church is open to all. But when the doors are closed the pope says whats really on his mind. Pope Francis just apologized for a homophobic slur made behind closed doors with Bishops.

    IMO most people who understand the issues feel the same way. My cable supplier carries the Israel international 24 hour news channel. Most of the politicians feel that almost all or all of the protests are anti-semitic. But they do have guests that make arguments that suggest your points. Its very difficult for the average citizen to separate Hamas from the Gaza population in general. I would add that I support the rights of Palestinian people to an independent state.But it has to be free of Iranian influences.

    Spain, Norway and Ireland have already shown the direction of world opinion on Netanyahu's war strategy. On the license that Israel has given to illegal West Bank right wing settlers. Most of the support that Israel received after the Hamas attacks has faded to nothing. There is a significant opposition to the methods of the IDF in its pursuit of Hamas within Israel. Having said that most Israeli citizens including myself believe Hamas must be destroyed. Since this is a trump v Hitler thread. I have to add that like Trump, Netanyahu has also been indicted for corruption, fraud and breach of trust.
