  1. Evidently Trump has longed to become knighted.Sir Donald sounded so good to him. He has buddied up to King Charles and because the UK wants favourable trading status been invited to TWO state visits. Trump figured that King Charles would like a fancy sword. A sword owned by President Dwight D. Eisenhower no less. So his minions approached the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum for its sword. The museum director stated that he could do no such thing because the sword belongs to the US government and the museum. Its director was just fired because he refused to be a party to theft of government property.
  2. "The Democratic Party needs to invest," Beshear said, offering himself as proof that the party can win in unexpected places. "Democrats can win back voters in those rural areas, especially with what we're seeing right now. But Democrats need to be the common sense, common ground, get results, type of party, one that spends 80% of its time on concerns that impact 100% of the American population." Completely agree. Dems need a balanced budget approach and a solid immigration policy that will win votes in the heartland.
  3. The American King has dreamed about a Nobel peace prize all his life. Or at least as long as his arch enemy President Obama has had one. He loves to brag about how many wars he has brought to peace. Omitting of course the wars he aided or abetted, but I digress. Recently he claimed to have personally made peace in a foreign war. During a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump said, “We settled Aber-baijan and Albania,” When in fact he had claimed to have brought peace to Armenia and Azerbaijan and claimed the Nobel for that. When other world leaders discussed the fact that he couldn't even pronounce the name of the land he claimed to have brought peace to. But instead mixed up two counties that were not at war but were friends with each other. Laughter from the leaders of the region was heard by all. Real picture of the event below.
  4. They are called fairy tales for a reason. Sorry my friend pain, suffering, possibly violence and then death. Such is the nature of human existence in the new Kingdom. Think of happiness from the years past. Dream about a happy future for your children.
  5. Let me help because a new old America now exists. The US is currently led by a dictator King out for blood. He only hires loyal servants who obey without question. The courts are nothing but a speed bump. A federal judge appointed by Reagan stated that “The effect of these targeted deportation proceedings continues unconstitutionally to chill freedom of speech to this day,” .. William Young concluded, in a scathing, 161-page opinion that he described as the most crucial he’s delivered in his 30 years on the bench. Previously US judges ruled that many actions of the King are unconstitutional. Those opinions mattered not in the King's kingdom. Oyez, oyez, oyez, from the town criers on FOX there was no criticism or even mention of those opinions. In the public markets there was no criticism of the King because people didn't want to be put to the sword. Commanders who served bravely in the armies of the land were brought together. They listened in silence as the naked King berated them, praised himself and promised vengeance on his enemies.
  6. I completely agree. A frequent SC poster PM'd me a week or so back. He was pissed because I kept posting about fraud, corruption and the endless criminal and unconstitutional acts from the Trump administration. I guess he thought should just post positive things about America. The Winston Churchill approach. War and cancer is messy, dirty. The current garbage dump is going to stink for at least another year and a half. Stay strong brother. Canada is much closer. March 6, 2025 | 3:00 pm Are Americans Moving to Canada? Truth Behind the Migration Trend and from Buzzfeed: Americans Are Revealing The Reasons Why They Moved To Canada, And It's A Difficult Truth Most Americans Aren't Ready To Hear
  7. Why wouldn't I care? It must be profitable because they are doing such a conversion on a second AC. It must be well managed to consider such a modification rather than just getting by with a second machine. Others must be curious about our sport in a area of the world that gets no coverage here.
  8. A sense of entitlement combined with drugs & alcohol seems to be common components.
  9. Marjorie Taylor Greene.....says she is ‘not suicidal’: ‘If something happens to me’ Evidently she has been receiving death threats because of her split with Trump and MAGA world over the Epstein files. "The Georgia representative is one of only four Republican House members to sign a discharge petition that would force a vote on the full release of the Epstein case files. The effort secured its 218th backer with the election of Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D) in Arizona last week, crossing the threshold needed for a vote."
  10. Then along came Trump and Epstein to top it.
  11. Speaking of behaviour, here is a picture of the weekends Mormon church shooter Thomas Jacob Sanford, in Michigan. Proudly wearing his hero's merchandise. Note the slogan under Trump's picture "Liberals cry again"
  12. How is the skydiving business in India? Does cheap Russian fuel make its way down to the airfield or is it taxed away?
  13. Oh! more corruption. Jared Kushner is involved with Saudi money in one of the largest private takeovers of video game publisher Electronic Arts. A $55 billion dollar deal. Jared company is worth $2.9 billion. Jared got $2 billion from the Saudi's during the first Trump administration. Don't forget : "Mr. Kushner’s father, Charles Kushner, a multimillionaire real estate executive, pleaded guilty in 2004 to 18 counts of tax evasion, witness tampering and making illegal campaign donations. He admitted hiring a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, who was cooperating in a federal campaign finance investigation, then videotaping the sexual encounter and sending it to the man’s wife, Mr. Kushner’s sister. “Mr. Kushner pled guilty, he admitted the crimes. So what am I supposed to do as a prosecutor?” Mr. Christie said in an interview on “Firing Line With Margaret Hoover” on PBS. “If a guy hires a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, and videotapes it, and then sends the videotape to his sister to attempt to intimidate her from testifying before a grand jury, do I really need any more justification than that?” Trump gave him a pardon for all that during his first administration.
  14. That close to martial law Now and in the future.
  15. One word explains it all.......... Republicans! Income distribution in the US is the worst of western countries. The rich getting richer the poor, poorer. Many poor can't retire because they have no savings. AI and automation still can't run kitchens, stock shelves, clean buildings and bathrooms. There is picking fruit, raising cattle, slaughtering them, running the stores to distribute the meat. The working less well off,do all that. Then on the backs of the working manual classes 25 years from now you can add the accumulated deficit to pay for the billionaire tax breaks, global warming expenses, deteriorating infrastructure, etc. picture a 68 YO woman living in a tent going to work in a senior care centre to look after a 80 YO rich white man. The second factor is the White only no immigration policies of the right. Sorry Trump Norwegians are not coming to the US. Aging demographics, rapidly rising debt/gdp, no savings of the poor is most likely to lead to violence. With rich Americans driving around in armoured cars from gated community to gated community.
  16. I personally like this "The total fertility rate for the U.S. reached a new low of approximately 1.599 births per woman in 2024", from CDC. So .4 below that required to maintain the population. "Panel A of Figure 12 shows the PWBM microsimulation’s projections of annual increases among workers (aged 25-64, blue line) and retirees (aged 65 and older, red line). Both microsimulation time series include immigration into each group as projected under current immigration policy, most of which augments the working age group. Nevertheless, the ongoing shift of baby boomers from the worker to the retiree group implies that annual increases among retirees far outstrip those of workers. Indeed, worker transitions into the older group are so large that the increase in workers (blue line) is smaller than net immigration of workers (yellow line). The large increase in retirees relative to workers is projected to reduce the worker-to-retiree ratio (black line in Panel B of Figure 12) from almost 3.0 today to 2.0 by 2075. One potential way of preventing the decline in the worker-retiree ratio is to increase annual immigration levels. Increases in net immigration each year would cumulatively increase the number of workers. This means that increasing legal immigration (by some multiple of the current level) would shift the time profile of the worker-retiree ratio upward." Without immigration the US is headed for armageddon as the rich battle the poor for the scarce assets like health care, unable to pay for the debts, etc. Old people with money and nobody working. So pretty much what evangelical Christians with their AR-15s always dream about. With Trump's current policies and his proposed nutcase ideas of anti-immigration the time frame for armageddon would likely compress by a quarter century.
  17. There are 35 countries that provide citizenship unconditionally to anyone born within their national borders FOX is NEVER the place for truthful opinions, facts, or information. Countries by birthright citizenship: Unconditional birthright citizenship for persons born in the country Birthright citizenship with restrictions Birthright citizenship abolished No birthright citizenship
  18. You're reflecting too much locally. Some citizens love convicted felons, rapists, conmen, flim flam artists, etc. Most countries refuse to endorse them.
  19. Well yes and no. Doing nothing is the best. BUT regardless of what happens Trump and his FOX publicists will still spin it anyway they want. I've heard there are some radical lefties in that neck of the woods.
  20. A good summation as to why its the cabinet and advisors that make a leader and not the pure intellect of the individual. GW Bush was widely mocked for not being the sharpest tool in the box. But he had a good group around him so he muddled through it all.. King Trump on the other hand has surrounded himself with pure lackeys. Hence the absolutely scatterbrained policy. The one caveat is that project 2025 is pushed by Bannon, Miller, etc. and Trump is likely oblivious to the cost of those policies.
  21. C'mon Jerry everyone knows that those republicans that kiss the fat King's ass don't have hearts.

    Trump

Well he did say that perhaps he should have become a doctor rather than running for president. 'Trump said doctors he's come across as the administration tries to get a handle on the outbreak have been surprised about how much he knows about COVID-19. "Maybe I have a natural ability," he said. "Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president." Instead he went with the demigod King.
