  1. There are no bad teams only bad leaders. Those 57 are certainly a cohesive bunch but its surprising that none would recognize the fatal flaw in their collective thinking. I'd suggest that there is too much of the thin blue line and not enough of the protect the public, protect the rights of everyone out there, empathy for those we serve reinforced at every meeting.
  2. Evidently the two cops involved in pushing the man to the ground in Buffalo have now been charged with 2nd degree assault. I'd suggest that all of the cops that resigned the Buffalo Police Department's Emergency Response Team. Need some sort of retraining with regards to their duties as officers to the public, the constitutional right to protest and how not to be douches in uniform.
  3. IMO the video is prima facie of assault. There were few other protestors around. The line of police were advancing, acknowledged elsewhere as acting under orders to move protesters farther away. The one officer who appeared to bend over to assist the man was stopped by another officer.
  4. Perspective, It takes 4-5 drinks in a cop to loosen them up because they are all so straight laced. About 1-2 drinks less than a pilot.
  5. Well they supplied the burgers, they supplied the beer, they supplied the ammo and I supplied the laughs...er instruction. I call it a win, win.
  6. Most importantly less intimidating than a Kevlar vest although they are distracting.
  7. The revolving door of GOP deplorable conduct continues. King is gone but a new one arises. ‘George Floyd — a staged event,’ says Bexar County GOP chair Cynthia Brehm “I think there is at the very least the 'possibility' that this was a filmed public execution of a black man by a white cop, with the purpose of creating racial tensions and driving a wedge in the growing group of anti-deep state sentiment from common people, that have already been psychologically traumatized by COVID-19 fears,” Brehm wrote on Facebook Its like a plague of vermin. You stamp one out and another appears.
  8. The sun is always shining somewhere. That is all good news and I agree with Wendy. IMO the shoe has still not dropped on the economy and won't until the stimulus money runs out. C-19 has a ways to run yet. Yes back to work is good news. Its very discouraging for the unemployed and for those living paycheck to paycheck its a disaster.
  9. Now there needs to be some porta-potties that pay appropriate homage to trump's potty mouth.
  10. Hopefully the revolving door of the LE industry doesn't allow any of them to find another pay ticket in the industry. Furthermore if that same door hits them in the ass on the way out, TS, adios, areviderchi.
  11. The problem arises because some LE agencies provide little or poor training. Another exists because police can become jaded dealing with the "revolving door" of the justice system. Seeing victims of crime brutalized by criminals and felling like a cog in a system that doesn't work. Thats why recurrent sensitivity training is a necessary constant. Officers need to understand drug addiction, the effects of FAS, alcoholism, child abuse and physical abuse by parents and caretakers. Then be professional when they think the suspect is a POS, child molesting, child murderer. To treat them just like a white woman in a spanking new $400,000 Bentley who just blew a stop sign.
  12. Yes. Cops that get pissed off because of a long foot pursuit on a 100 degree day, where they fall and get a good case of road rash. Then fight with a suspect before getting the cuffs on. Are expected to immediately treat the suspect with respect and recognize their innocence to everything that just happened. Judges decide punishment not the "street justice", "attitude adjustment" that a few bad cops are apt to deal out. I have never seen people eat more crap from the public than the complaints, PR people from the airlines. BS, lies, abuse from someone that bought a economy ticket and figures the world is theirs.
  13. I know lots of cops. I used to go shooting with them and use up their free ammo all the time.
  14. So police that have a sworn duty to "protect and serve" can be allowed to "grow tired of that". So the public is not allowed to "have an attitude". Have you ever seen the attitude at airports by the flying public? That because some of the public has an attitude whole segments should be left to their fates? Got it. Collective punishment.
  15. airdvr and Turtle can't seem to understand that its not us v them. That as soon as the cuffs are on you stand the suspect up. That the suspect is a convicted felon is irrelevant. That the suspect has a long rap sheet is irrelevant. That just because you had a 1/2 hour car chase. A five hundred yard foot chase where you lost your sunglasses that cost forty bucks and ripped the back of your pants climbing a fence. That after all that you treat the suspect with respect, you stand him up after cuffing them and ensure that any of their injuries are immediately treated. Because thats your job and you're a professional. Instead a ride along will show you the zoo where the animals prowl. Looking to feast on society, white society. Double check the Glock because the animals are out. Tighten down the vest and turn off the camera. Tonight there will be some rough justice for those sunglasses on that last shift, f*#king animals don't deserve to live here.
  16. Beyond that how about routine, random monitoring of arrest video to ensure training and lawful conduct. Most business today monitor conversations and interactions with customers for "training purposes". Said monitoring done by a LE outsider.
  17. Chiefs of Police and Police unions. Who both believe their bread is buttered by officers and not the public trust.
  18. You completely miss the point. White supporters of trump and the GOP don't need to protest. Like all white collar crimes, no pun intended. Gerrymandering, vote rigging, vote denials, etc. Ensure that one white vote in a republican district counts for two black votes. -Too bad for them. White GOP supporters are ready on all occasions to support LE because they fight MS-13 and Black gangs that want to rape their white wives and children. So roughing them up and the occasional night-stick work on the back of their heads for resisting is OK. Just keep it all sub-Rosa. -Too bad for them. White trump GOP supporters don't need to protest, taste and feel gas. because. They are in their gated communities armed to the teeth. Constantly on the watch for Blacks who jog through their streets. If they get shot, well. -Too bad for them.
  19. Its astounding that LE in the current environment is not on its best behavior. Obviously Mayors are not doing their jobs. By firing Police Chiefs who can't or won't train their personnel.
  20. I take it you believe there is MS-13 behind every dumpster. Better up-arm LE.
  21. Dangerous, growing, yet unnoticed: the rise of America's white gangs The Growth of Gangs in Suburban Areas I'm not sure of the point you're trying to make?
  22. IMO Regan was not ignorant. He was not Clinton, Obama smart. But he knew enough to surround himself with a very strong cabinet. he also had very strong interpersonal skills. I believe he was a very good president setting aside events the made him look better. The Berlin wall for example, cold war, etc.
  23. The EC serves no useful purpose. Why would a state have a say in the life and direction of the nation state. When individual voters should have that role?
  24. Tell us, inquiring minds want to know.
