There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

Brilliant. In addition that fusion drives weather on earth, hence wind. So wind power is really fusion power! Weather patterns driven by that same fusion results in evapotranspiration! i.e. hydro-power. All of that can supply power to....a....Tesla! .....Damn Brent is a secret genius. No wonder Tesla is now $1544 a share. Tesla has a market cap of $286 billion so Tesla could buy GM($34B), Ford($24B),Chrysler ($14B),MB ($39B), BMW($58B), VW($72B) and have $40 billion left over -
The entire concept is fatally flawed. The idea that two parties to a transaction will fairly proportion environmental damage, or pollution. That private citizens or corporations will fairly value, trade, or properly deal with pollution or environmental damages. Is absurd. Most damages from pollution occur to the public sphere. Without check and balances on citizens and corporations. Abuse is inevitable. Not a possibility, inevitable.

Well you're a sailor. How deep is the Mariana trench?

Simple, accountability. Its absent with oil in general. Its a primary motivator of the Koch brothers. Its also a common theme in what you endorse. Pollution accountability, environmental responsibility, for yourself, for trump and for the right. Its a straw man, a empty barrel an attempt to shield action with a smoke screen.

"PERC Benefits From Oil Industry Funding And Has Close Ties To The Koch Brothers PERC Has Close Ties To The Koch Brothers, Who Lead An Oil And Gas Conglomerate And Bankroll Much Of The Right-Wing Movement PERC Is Partially Funded By The Koch Brothers. PERC Received $258,144 from the Koch Brothers. “The Koch brothers, leaders of a vast family oil-and-gas conglomerate, use this political network to pursue their right-wing agenda at nearly every level of government" I'm instantly skeptical of any position taken by yourself or by Turtle. So less than five minutes of digging, voila.

Pie in the sky future answers that justify inaction today. "fusion reactors that burn neutron-rich isotopes have byproducts that are anything but harmless: Energetic neutron streams comprise 80 percent of the fusion energy output of deuterium-tritium reactions and 35 percent of deuterium-deuterium reactions. Now, an energy source consisting of 80 percent energetic neutron streams may be the perfect neutron source, but it’s truly bizarre that it would ever be hailed as the ideal electrical energy source. In fact, these neutron streams lead directly to four regrettable problems with nuclear energy: radiation damage to structures; radioactive waste; the need for biological shielding; and the potential for the production of weapons-grade plutonium 239—thus adding to the threat of nuclear weapons proliferation, not lessening it, as fusion proponents would have it. In addition, if fusion reactors are indeed feasible—as assumed here—they would share some of the other serious problems that plague fission reactors, including tritium release, daunting coolant demands, and high operating costs. There will also be additional drawbacks that are unique to fusion devices: the use of a fuel (tritium) that is not found in nature and must be replenished by the reactor itself; and unavoidable on-site power drains that drastically reduce the electric power available for sale." Gee I wonder why there isn't China, Russia and every other country working on this? Oh, got the kick in the head, time to exit this equation. -
B.S. Stated objective of that organization. "PERC is a research institute dedicated to promoting conservation by exploring how voluntary trade can produce positive environmental outcomes. We are committed to exploring the ideas of free market environmentalism, and this research is the foundation of PERC. Our current initiatives focus on market approaches to wildlife conservation and improving public lands management. This work then informs conservation policy and practice." As a part of "free market environmentalism" is Accountability is also enhanced with clear ownership rights by making people responsible for harm done to others. The driver responsible for an auto collision, for example, is liable for any damages done. The GOP, trump have both acted to disavow any connection of responsibility between polluters and the costs of their actions. Trump Serves Notice to Quit Paris Climate Agreement It continues to amaze that you can find these obscure, impossible, pie in the sky answers. To fit your free market based conservation and environmental ideas to justify NON ACTION.

Perhaps this whole discussion is better in the Banana Republic thread? His lying and failure to testify make him pretty much a useless witness. Kinda like his former boss. Even after this latest outrage of corruption his GOP, rue of law enablers of trump. Continue to worship the false profit, or is it prophet. Screw the law line your pockets the end is coming.

His emphasis should be remdesivir,o2 and other medical treatments, because I personally "doubt the power of prayer."

No idea but for those like me.

Doesn't understand and can't wait. -
Yeah, what a bunch of B.S. If he took such a test at Walter Reed they would still be conducting more tests. He is so used to lying that he thinks these ramblings are believable.

Glacier National Park is like a Canadian national park W/O the mosquitoes. The complete absence of humming mosquitoes on the side of the tent, no howling wolves or coyotes. Made it difficult to fall asleep at night. -
The Supreme Court on Thursday cleared the way for prosecutors in New York to see President Trump’s financial records, a stunning defeat for Mr. Trump but a decision that probably means the records will be shielded from public scrutiny under grand jury secrecy rules until after the election, and perhaps indefinitely. In a separate decision, the court ruled that Congress could not, at least for now, see many of the same records. The vote in both cases was 7 to 2. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote both majority opinions. The court’s decision in favor of the New York prosecutors was a major statement on the scope and limits of presidential power, one that will take its place with landmark rulings that required President Richard M. Nixon to turn over tapes of Oval Office conversations and forced President Bill Clinton to provide evidence in a sexual harassment suit. Net loss for Benedict Donald

No I didn't write the new Lincoln Project video, or did I? Assh*%es refused my cc donation though. Some stupid law or another. I messaged them that the law doesn't matter to trump why should it for me. But that made no difference. Pffff , integrity.

Deciphering Ron, RT, Q and all the rest isn't worth my time. I'm sure the FBI and CIA have some people on the job. There is a clear link IMO between Ron's post and the RT one. The story has further to run and either RT or Q can go ahead W/O me into the conspiracy zone.
-
Well maintaining the narrative is worth all costs. RT is involved in the formation of the narrative. RT has an interesting tag line "Question More" and "Q"'s followers motto is "Question Everything". Seems if Mr Putin is wagging the tail and patriotic Americans are following every wag. Nodding their heads in unison with the instructions from the Kremlin.

Those boogaloo boys and trump supporters need to stop such vandalism. Trump Attacks Anti-Fascists But Is Silent on Boogaloo & Far-Right Groups Engaged in Deadly Violence Boogaloo Boys Aim to Provoke 2nd US Civil War Far-right radicals visit violence on police in the U.S. "A massive demonstration over the police killing of George Floyd had been going on nearby. And that, allegedly, was the distraction Carrillo had been seeking, with police resources focused on preventing rioting and looting. The trigger point, as well. “It’s on our coast now, this needs to be nationwide,’’ Carillo had posted in a group chat, referring to a YouTube video showing a crowd of protesters attacking two California Highway Patrol vehicles. “It’s a great opportunity to target the specialty soup bois. Keep that energy going.” “Let’s boogie!” replied Robert Alvin Justus Jr., who was all-in on the scheme, as the getaway driver. Bois: Another term for “boys,” as in Boogaloo Bois. Soup: Shorthand for the “alphabet soup’’ of law enforcement agencies: FBI, ATF, Federal Protective Service (FPS). Carrillo hated police." Boogaloo: The movement behind recent violent attacks -
trump and his supporters bemoan the fact that there was $13 million raised in the Go-Fund-me effort for Floyd. Then to top it off Floyd Mayweather paid for the casket. trump of course loves gold, anything gold. His financially challenged supporters have the $13 million to deal with then the donation of the casket. Knowing that they will never have so many to mourn their loss. trump's death will probably be met with cheering and celebration. Then the issues that Floyd is Black and celebrated for a uprising of conscious that they can't understand. Because "white power" blinds them to the support Floyd enjoys. They need to go back to Tucker Carlson to understand these bubbling grievances. Tucker will bring clarity to their empty minds so befuddled by a casket.
