AFAIK the Swiss are the most disciplined, then the Germans about firearms training to get a license. In Canada training-exam precedes license. The US has none of that. Beyond that there are areas of the US that has a hunting culture. Where land is readily available to shoot and hunt on. Those areas shrink every year unless you're in Montana, Alaska, the Dakotas, etc. Drugs, booze, angry, unstable, young people who don't have jobs and guns are a recipe for trouble.

I know lots of gun owners who state regularly that they are ready to use their weapons should any transgression against them take place. Combine some yelling, screaming, guns and ideas where the other side is opposite to every idea you hold dear. It can get outta hand fast.

Agree but trying to analyze muzzle control, etc. is over thinking it. They admitted the second day they went on their white victim gun toting road trip. That they armed themselves before they felt threatened. Neither one has ever heard of the NRA gun safety program. They wanted to intimidate the crowd with their guns nothing more or less. They knew they were there to protest because the protest was made public the day before.

I'm not sure if you came up with that on your own or heard it elsewhere. But its a guarantee he will have a book penned(ghost written) about his innocence and "beautiful presidency". He can't resist having the last word and how the 2020 election was stolen from him will have to be told. Bravo on doing your personal part in the protest of ICE actions.You go girl!

Looks more & more like the dying days of the Third Reich. He seems to be surrounding himself with more and more individuals ready to lie for him. But with a few hard core soldiers like Roger Stone as exceptions. Most are ready to put the pen to books asap after leaving.

Science and politics in America. "Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp sued Thursday to stop Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms from mandating masks be worn in the city to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The legal actions comes after prominent Democratic mayors in the state pledged to challenge an executive order by Kemp barring local mask mandates. Bottoms defiantly declared, “I am not afraid of the city being sued.” Its difficult to conceive of how anything can change until a new president is in office. Every day its a new WTF and the numbers keep climbing. More children w/o parents and grandparents.

I'll admit I'd be happy if trump got covid. Sometimes one has to be sacrificed to save many. Puppy kicking too. The stupid I'll have empathy for. The outright evil no. Thats all a part of my conservative past.

I don't get FOX but when I search Turtle, trump or the usual cast of trump supporting talking points up comes FOX. Either leading or reporting those same false ideas. Somehow I think you and the GOP already know that.

I actually understand that. When I know the people holding the gun isn't inclined to do stupid stuff. Have a AD. I feel safe. People familiar with guns would show the gun to another as unloaded. The person receiving any gun would check to verify unloaded.Socializing with guns, they all are unloaded or immediately get unloaded unless you're in a safe place to shoot. Nobody would ever point any kind of gun loaded or unloaded at another person. If they did they would be hunting and/or shooting by themselves thereafter. I've been involved in two ADs Both by other persons. Once where the safety was mishandled and once where the rifle was supposed to be unloaded.

Yes. During hunting season no worries.On a range where the guns are pointed downrange. On all other cases a gun would cause the same concern as open carry of a knife. With the first thing coming to mind being WHY? Anyone, cops included with a hand on a gun would be a concern excepting hunting season. If those lawyers were in fear of their lives why confront the protestors with guns. Grab the gun sure, but stay in the house where concealment and some cover exists. Confronting a "dangerous mob" with a gun in the open is plain stupid. Crazy people waving guns.....

Completely agree. Well off countries will always adapt. The US has a warming Canada to supply food. People with education together with political borders or physical barriers can keep the starving at bay. -
Thats my understanding as well. But contrary to their denials of wrongdoing, contrary to the publicity efforts of their first law firm. Law firm number two has some sort of angle. Call it smoke and mirrors, court of public opinion, or whatever. There is an angle there somewhere.

Their lawyer "seized their pistol in order to prove its "inroperability" at any future trial". What B.S. two rich lawyers can't afford a working pistols? At that point CNN,ABC,NBC,CNBC all went back to regular programing. The circuit breakers for lies and b.s. tripped the feed.
