    I know Thanksgiving is next week but I'm hungry and I'm planning the menu today. I am cooking Thanksgiving this year for me and one other person. Our tastes in food are somewhat similar (healthy, simple, fresh produce) and somewhat different (I like sweet and he likes spicy). He, like me, is a picky eater but I think I've got this menu planned out nicely: Turkey (of course), seasoned with fresh herbs Caramelized Onion and Cornbread stuffing w/ sausage Homemade Cranberry Sauce Chili-Roasted Veggies (carrots, brussell sprouts, broccoli) Made from scratch Southern Biscuits Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp We are very much opposed to the traditional mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, and mac and cheese. (He hates potatoes and cheese, I hate green beans). What is everybody else making? Any traditional favorites? http://3ringnecklace.com/

    So I'm guessing that you've never gone through any major surgery? Because that just sounds very uncomfortable situation but not a painful one. Sorry sweetie but that sounds like a very drastic statement to say to a forum of skydivers- many skydivers that have undergone some very painful experiences and now have metal rods and plates in their body. In comparison, this situation sounds like cake. "Wow you're a dumbass Mr. Silver Spoon, good luck with your life" moving on now... People who know that you skydive will put you on the spot when introducing you to new people. The best response I've gotten so far is, "Well you don't LOOK crazy!"     I am an Army contractor and I work as a sport psychology consultant. Basically, I teach Soldiers how to be mentally strong in order to optimize their performance in whatever task they are doing. Pros: Great pay, great benefits, year-round jumping Cons: my co-workers aren't that great, my bosses suck, I'm far away from my family, stupid office politics Recently I have been seriously thinking about getting out of this job but I don't want to leave the pros about it.     : 3: I finally was able to do some tandems after dislocating my elbow two months ago. I was able to flare the SETS 400 a lot easier than I thought I would. I also got to fly a SETS 366 for the "not-the-second" time. It's a good thing I was under the 366 because I had a small passenger (and I'm 155) and we were going backwards on final.
