Did you not see Prisoner of Azkaban? He played Dubledore for that one too. I guess he was so good, you did not even notice. The ONE Potter film I haven't seen......D-O-H!

Here's hoping she is flying free.... It's pretty cool she touched everybody so much that a part of her is still here.

UGH....did the same thing with The Sheltering Sky. Who woulda thought Bernardo Bertolluci could have fucked up a movie so majorly. This is the same guy who made the Conformist and Last Tango in Paris for chrissakes! *heavy sigh*

What do y'all think of the new Dumbledore? I'm not sure anyone could have matched Richard Harris. Michael Gambon is no Richard Harris, but he a great actor. (check out The Cook, The Theif, His Wife, and Her Lover or Layercake) He is one of my absolute faves and knowing him, he won't try to be Harris, who could be? It will be interesting to see what he does with that.

Happy Birthday, Trent! p.s. Ya got a dad that jumps, how cool is THAT? (wish mine was a "Dork", too)

That waiter from Orlando must have started that rumor! Oh god, I hope his name wasn't Jean-Luc and you find yourself in a coffee commercial! (unless that is what you want, of course)

What are some reasons people stop Jumping?
thegreekone replied to Diversgodown's topic in The Bonfire
For me it was a sequance of events that happened in a short period of time. Had a pretty bad accident (no major injuries) and didn't go in due to blind luck. Then I lost a friend and moved in with a non-jumper...thought all three were signs to get out. Couldn't stay away and found out my jumping days were still ahead of me. -
DEFINITELY.......for no other reason than to see stuff dramatized that happened before my time.

The thing with the motion of the sweep handle is bull shit too - the Chinks put very cheap mechanical movements into the fake Rollo's they manufacture. Quote This comment is true. That said, and I don't have a habit of raining on anyone's parade, I can do without the "CHINKS" part. Bonfire or not, it's demeaning to everybody, not just you.

From what I have heard they should have called it BAREBACK Mountain. I like Ang Lee. He's no Tsai Ming-Liang or Hou Hsiao-hsien, but he'll do.

My element is WATER Those of you born under the influence of the Chinese Astrology Element of Water act with the assured fluidity of a river, affecting your environment with your strength and quiet charm. Creative and captivating, diplomatic and intuitive, Water individuals are the masters of subtle persuasion. Without even appearing to try, you can gain someone's trust and affection, and once you've got them they'll follow you anywhere. You make everyone feel special, noting and praising each person's unique talents. Your inherent pliability, the fluid calm that makes you so appealing, can also make you sometimes too passive, too willing to be what someone wants you to be. You tend to take the shape of whatever container you're poured into.Rather than letting others dam up your energies, let yourself flow freely! Fluidity? Pliability? Uh, no.... Flow freely? MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Weird! I was thinking how similar it looks to images I remember from being in Japan.

What kind of world do we live in where shows like ACCORDING TO JIM and YES, DEAR go on and shows like AD get the ax?! http://imdb.com/news/sb/2005-11-14/#tv5 *tries to find solace in the fact Martha Stewart also getting ax* if they could only do something about that squirrel haired freak!

I eat a lot of grilled organ meat when I visit the island where my parents grew up....pretty damn good stuff. (wait, that didn't come out right) Or you can go to "Onera" (dreams in greek) in NYC and order the offal tasting menu for 90 bucks.

Skydiving is not an excuse for lack of fashion sense people!!

It would be like wearing Versace, doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it's "V". plaid....wow, that just may be the litmus test for brand strength! -
and that AIN'T the half of it! (heavy on the NASTY)
