just discussed this with a friend this morning. jump 8 or 9 I spent on my back flailing for a LONG ass time. Almost dumped on my back, but didn't. Backflipped and dumped prolly a good second before my FXC fired. Instructor knew to get me up right away again and it was a perfect jump from start to finish. That is when I knew it wasn't all shits and giggles and still wanted it for myself.

I'm a Sapphire lover too - as such, I can recommend Hendrick's for a change of pace. Garnish with a slice of cucumber. Just discovered Hendrick's as well and I have to say that I agree...as a change of pace. mmmmm...gin

I dont know I would call spiderman great work. Not bad, but not great either. Fair enough. It's not Chinatown or The Godfather, but for studio stuff....it's pretty good, especially given the genre.

Happy Happy B-Day!!!!!!!!!

Right up there with Evil Dead. Would anybody have ever thought Sam Raimi would be a gazzilionare and doing Spiderman? I think that is pretty cool that someobody actually paid their dues, still kept their soul intact AND is doing great work in hollywood. (did I mention the money?)

The "Frenchy is fucking off to Shanghai" party
thegreekone replied to Frenchy68's topic in The Bonfire
Frenchy, you seem like a man who knows how to get things done! Make it happen and I am THERE! This makes sense since Shanghai is the access point for all things modern and from the west. (and has been since the early 1900s) Did I mention the food? -
Baklava. I like they way you think!

I thought you meant Alphaville the MOVIE by Jean-luc Godard. nevermind.

It is dreamlike and reaches the right places inside my head. Oh, and one final thing - that COOL tall glass building with the moving pictures, like the dinosaur. WHY don't we have anything so amazingly cool here in the US ?!?! I'm tellin ya, they keep the best stuff for themselves! My trips to Taiwan and Japan have been nothing short of Blade Runner realized, I kid you not. I really miss Japan....

I didn't care for it at all, I didn't understand it. What was the point of running away from the laser guns?! Like they were getting shot at for real? dude, relax.....sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Japan becomes this decentering place, sometimes it forced them to really think and be present, other times, like in the case of that whole night, to be child like and play. i, uh, really love that movie
