My car got broken into while I was at work yestereday evening (I usually take a bus from the Park N' Ride). The front passenger window was smashed, the stereo and a bunch of CDs stolen. SUX!! Then I realized this morning that I couldn't find my backpack...which has my jumpsuit, Alti-2, helmet, goggles and logbook among other things. Every time I think I about those (skydiving) things I get depressed.

I'm assuming that was supposed to be funny. Less expensive than Sonoma Co "isn't that expensive". Well, I guess Woodland or one of those podunks up I-5 may be affordable, but where would you work?

Yes, I realize that. It still sounds stupid. Leave the metaphors for the products themselves. "Down comforters" and "pillow" belong on beds.

BS meter just went through the roof....that is just as bed as the Icarus ad saying that that the Safire 2 openings are "as soft as falling into pillows" or whatever.

I'm not convinced that this "open press article" is true. I can't find anywhere on Travelocity.com where it references SkyRide, TotalTrip or anything mentioned there.

Well, you know, it depends on what time of the day! At the Byron Boogie, everyone gave up and started drinking around 2ish. I held out for another hour or so and then felt lonely w/o a beer in hand and then gave up too.

My parents live in Goleta (I grew up there - went to Dos Pueblos HS class of '93) and I will be there starting Christmas day in the evening. If possible, it would be nice to go to Eloy for a couple of nights. I would definitely consider getting a ride there with one person and driving back with someone else - meeting someone in the "OC" also an option.

I like it! Celery, tomatoes, worchestershire (look at the ingredients).....a dietary bonanza...plus the added benefits of alcohol......WoooooooHooooooo! Gross, gross, gross. Ick. Voda tonic w/ lime is my default mixed drink. Or a Long Island.

Eeeeeeewwww! Jackpunx, A horny gorrila is where you are on your back/reclined and your legs are locked with another skydiver. Once you have your 'A', try taking another skydiver's knee between your legs and then exit. There are numerous versions/combos of this out there. -
I prefer to just not jump when the wind is 20+ instead of getting blown out - landing way off sux.
