I liked it....most critics didn't...but they probably wouldn't give a rats ass about the original MTV series, so who cares about them.

Same situation for me...adult male orange tabby and (still a kitten - about 7 mos) b & w female. Keep water bottles around (e.g. one on the kitchen table) and squirt the cat. After a while, you just have to hold it and threaten the cat.

My Sabre 150 has probably 1000 or so on it and Mfg Dt of 3/91....and I was told the ZP is still in pretty good condition. I've put around 40 or so jumps on it and am assuming there is still at least several hundred jumps left if not more.

Did they used to be green? They are orange in the parachutist ad.

No. The point, in virtually all cases, is disagreeing with the (in)actions of the government or dominant religous group - not the general populouce. Burning a flag, sounds...I don't know...racist?

OK. Thanks. The shape of this helmet looks similar to a Z-1 or Oxygen (maybe a little different than a Mamba).

Who's JC?

Now that you told us, I'm assuming you'll officalize it and tell your priest too? I would've loved to be there and meet Bill and Amy too, but I was in Davis buying a used VERY speedy suit (since I don't have one).

THIS looks VERY promising. Although, they all look like they aren't "true" full face in the skydiver sense, but good enough with goggles.

Does America Online suck as much as I think it does?

And they send me free coasters every few months. I even put them in the dishwasher one time when they started to get dirty. I think I have close to 20 in my collection now. -
Yeah I should've! I even had my overnight kit (toiletries) in my bag which had an extra set of contacts and then took it out at the last minute! The student goggles I borrowed just sucked and didn't do the job. The leave-a-goggles-outline-on-your-face goggles you have work better.

Yes...and I've never used it. -
I was there on the 13th! I picked up my rig and did two jumps with that beautiful early Nov weather! You were in Sweden! Maybe I'll have to do that one of these cold winter days.

Keep the opinions coming people. I need something besides Good Stuff, which I'm getting sick of (as I'm sure anything would after watching it over a dozen times).

0:1:0 Oh you know it! I did a 2-way with Rodrigo at Davis yesterday. After turning 5 pts and about 5-6000ft of altitude (still at about 8K), I just wanted to give up, pull and get warm! Why can't the weather just get cold gradually instead of dropping over 30 degrees in one weekend!

...that I have enough money (well, sorta) to skydive (although not as much as I'd like). ...that I have my health. ...that I have a good family and friends. ...and much more.

Woa man. That's.....really sad. My condolences. You WILL have a good Thanksgiving this year though.

Dude, aren't you Roman Catholic? You don't believe in this Rapture crap (and neither do I, being Eastern Orthodox). Actually, what it really comes down to is the parable of the sheep and the goats in Matthew. You don't want to be the goats. Besides...shouldn't this thread be in Speakers Corner?
-
Yes, in a few min.

Or are you just some aimless loser. It seems no one here has a vision....Vision canopy that is! The Vision seems to be one of the only canopies here that no one seems to talk about. Why? Does it suck compared to the others in its class? I'm guessing it is a HP canopy, comparable to a Stiletto? Just curious.

There is chance I could stop by that weekend too...although I was thinking of going to Davis on Friday to buy Peter Galli's old suit if it is still available. Of course, the day after Thanksgiving is a bad day to do this just like the first time I barely squeezed into it after eating all weekend during Labor Day weekend.

depends on what kind of loan you get.. my car loan i got 3 years ago was a "total amount" i have a set amount i have to pay off, i can pay it off early but i still pay for the entire interest on the whol loan as if i paid it each month... it sucks buti was 22 and didn't know better... atleast i'm very happy with my car and it is worth every penny i will eventually pay for it...... WTF? I have never heard of a crappy loan like that - no point. Maybe since I have a math/stat (& some finance) background, I wouldn't let myself fall for something lame like that. I have to laugh at most of the Refi junk mail I get (I own a townhouse). While I may pay MI since I have FHA/CalHFA loan(s), my interest rate is still 30 yrs fixed @5% - not something that will be beat.
-
Actually, I think he looks a little slimmer than when I first saw him at some Davis boogies.
-
Sorry Rev, but you're mistaken on this. The loan is for the amount of purchase. Interest is paid over the LIFE of the loan. If you refi for a lower rate, you pay less since you will paying less interest over the life of the new loan. The original loan amount is that same in any case. Yes, prepayment penalties do exist, but if you can refi for a lot lower, it could still be worth it depending on what the penalty is.
