  2. Just got back from the pet store coincidentally.... They told me, and an official notice from the company is posted, that (don't remember which) but either Petastic or Nature's Miracle just bought one another. In any case, they told me at the pet store that Petastic is the "original recipe", and recommended OVER Nature's Miracle. Just thought I'd throw that out.
  3. Well, I had my backpack stolen when my car was broken into a week or so ago. It had my Blue Tony suit, helmet (cheap skateboard type), LOGBOOK!!!!, Alti-2, goggles and a bag of SkyBands (black packing bands). Thieves probably had no idea what they were. This was in NorCal though.
  4. It seems to me that the only way out of this for SkyRide now is too: 1. Boot B&C and declare Ch. 7 or whatever 2. Start over and do it the right way. They just seem to be in too deep.
  5. I wasn't close to that many people in HS - more acquaintances, didn't really enjoy it that much even though I was in sports (wrestling for 4 years), but the reunion/HS is in the same town where my parents live and it is only a few hundred miles away. Furthermore, all this attitude BS was years ago, when we were all stuck up teenagers anyways. I like to think better of people. After/during the reunion, I'd have to say I was pleasantly surprised attitude-wise. I think most people who go want to find out how people are doing - not just try to impress people. I plan to go to my next reunion (maybe a 15 yr) when it comes up in a couple of years.
  6. Do tell me who "good" and "bad" are, since I probably have heard of both and might concur...and since everyone else on dz.com would have no clue nor care.
  7. Good vibes your way. Have fun and be safe.
  8. Actually, it does happen in the real world. Not the part where it says "VELO 96" in big letters. I've never jumped sub 200s and I've had jumps where I look up and think - does this seem a bit small? That's just because you're a fa.....nevermind.
  9. Maybe it is some plant to reference his post in the lawsuit? Hmmmm.....
  10. I love how you guys like to disagree on academic hypothetical situations. Anyways...I kind of asked my AFF-I/rigger the similar question a year or so ago. I said, (Btw, I'm about 150 or so out the door) "Hey Mike! What would tell me if for some reason I jumped your rig (a Velocity 84)?" Answer: "Pull the reserve immediately. It's a 120. Then you MIGHT live." Good enough for me not to mess with these HP canopies.
  11. No, the scariest is all those fools who got ARMs, or worse, Neg Am I.O. loans, trying to just make some money on the rising equity. When you combine those people with rising interest rates and a softening housing market, these will mean a lot of real estate on the market and possible bankruptcies.
  12. Ditto that. The Lauterbrunnen valley is one of the most scenic in the world. In the summer of '98, I ate breakfast at the Piz Gloria on the Schilthorn (the rotating restaurant), bungy jumped from the supply gondola that went from Schteckelberg to Mürren (different than the passenger gondola from Schteeckelberg to Gimmelwald and then to Mürren), and also a bunch of hiking. I also did a tandem paraglide around the Interlaken area. I really miss that area.
  13. Right. But they specifically look at the FICO score and not the TransUnion (or other) flavor of it, right? Wrong. Again, it is entirely dependent on the individual loan program and doc type. The lender gets all credit scores that are available for a borrower (from ALL the bureaus) and uses one over another for different reasons. My company has around 500 loan programs - maybe the most of any major lender. I'm an analyst in Operations, but I sit next to a couple of Corporate Underwriters (they have high authority levels). I don't look at the aspects of individual loan programs and why they work they way they do, but I do deal with lots of mortgage data on a daily basis.
  14. OK, as to this specific season so far, you're right. But as to winter in general as a whole, not really.
  15. Definitely. For the last 30 years or so (she's retired now), my mom worked at the company that prints the Charles Shaw labels, and 2 Buck Chuck was previously a $7-10 bottle that just got relabelled because they had a huge surplus of grapes one year and wanted a way to offload the extra. They then realized that it was a mega-seller, and started growing and bottling it specifically. Yeah...but Charles Shaw is made by...FRANZIA! Gasp! Naw, it's still a great table wine.
  16. OK. Regardless, a loan an Underwriter can make an exception sometimes to a borderline score for a specific loan program. While there may be rules ( I should say "guidelines" instead), exceptions are frequently made.
  17. I'll have to borrow/buy stuff if I jump this weekend too. Sux!
  18. Dude, you're in NorCal. You can't make fun of her that much.
  19. The score you need is your FICO score. Two of the 3 credit bureaus sell their own numbers that are not used by lenders to do anything. Buying the numbers from the bureaus is a waste of money. Oh contraire. I work for a major lender in the home office (Greenpoint Mortgage). We usually get 3 Scores, ONE of them being the FICO (Fair Isaac) credit score. Which Score is used is entirely dependent on the individual loan program and documentation type (Full Documentation, Stated Income, missing one or more of income/assets/equity, etc.). While I agree that it is probably a waste to get all credit scores out there since they would all be relatively close, getting your free credit report and maybe using the trick someone else suggested maybe sufficient if you just want something close. Checking out myfico.com is a good suggestion though, unless their service is expensive (I have no idea).
  20. I have a stepbro in Newport Beach. What about 74 -> I-5 -> 74 (that really windy looking thing)? Or is it just WAY too windy? Just curious.
  21. Yup, since it is an album/scrapbook of sorts besides just a log. I've been keeping track recently in an Excel spreadsheet, so all is not lost record-wise besides sigs and some comments.
