    I think that's is about the same for mine too...but it is fitting a 500ish jumps Sabre1-120 into a 150 d-bag. In a couple of months, I'll actually have to fit it into a 120 d-bag. Poor me. Packing sux.

    I was there the past two, but the weather was sucking today. Tomorrow it will not be sucking and Ev and I are now in Perris. I hope to raise enough ruckus (and interest) to get a jet manifested. Btw, Iwan shoots some mad video. He made Georgerussia, Autumn and I (and the Airspeed guy) to look like we actually knew what we were doing some of the time. Buy the Boogie Video people, it WILL be good. VERY good.

    The ad leaves something desired. I have a hard time believing that the container, reserve and main all have Mfg dates of 8/06. Are you sure that 8/06 doesn't just apply to the reserve or container? If it does and there is nothing wrong with the main, then anyone here ought to buy the main and then resell it for several hundred profit.

    Remster/AFFI, Yes, you can question me, but as I originally said, I was in the saddle by 2100 - a lot different than the Cypres fire....Or I can just retract my statement and said that I pulled fine since no one has any video to prove otherwise. Again, I was damn sure to do practice touches before next jump and found the hackey and pulled the first time.

    safire, Yes, but that's just how Icarus chooses to set their brakes. You don't need to flare all the way to your feet to have a strong flare. dharma, I think I figured that out a few months after I was at Eloy last year.

    Yikes man.... What was your plan? 4 attempts? 2? Try until the AAD fires? Did you have a plan? I dont want to ride you too much about that, but its the same issue that caused the AAD fire the OP videoed. Before AADs, quite a few people went in because of this. Have a plan. And it should be 2 attempts, and then reserve. My plan was that I was going to have to go to silver soon..but I found it. I was just reaching very lazily. My subsequent pulls (jumps thereafter) I did practice touches and realized it was mostly not practicing reaching. It worked out though.

    I think the Icarus rep who I demoed a Safire2 from last year at Eloy was more objective than you. Hey wonderwoman, if the Icarus rep doesn't have any Safire2-119s, I'll be happy use yours while you're demoing something else...that is, if a Sabre2-120 is unavailable.

    On the first jump of the day a couple of weeks ago, I reached for my hacky and it wasn't there...until my third or fourth grab. I was in the saddle by about 1900, but I was saying (audibly and to myself), "I did NOT like that, It was NOT cool!". I attribute it to a) not being fully comfortable while wearing gloves and b) complacency with EPs as above. I just didn't practice grabbing my hacky or enough beforehand. Much more minor of a scare then on the vid, but the vid reminded me of the incident. Thanks Jason.

    Due us all a favor and destroy it. I don't want to ever have to relive that visual. He (Ego) can destroy the video of me as well. I haven't seen it yet and don't need to either.

    I've never paid for AV software for my home computer - why start now? Someone on another forum just told me that AVG 7.5 FREE exists - just hard to find on their site. I'll check it out.

    Sat/Sun won't work...tomorrow? Maybe. When do people show on Friday? I could possibly be there by around 3 to get in a load or two. May not be worth it though. I may just have to suffer another week. OH THE AGONY!

    Probably be the 29th or early on the 30th for me. I'm driving to Eloy with Evelyn early in the morning. I suppose I could get a ride later in the day from Perris with one of you, but then Evelyn would have to drive alone.

    I hate you! I won't be there until afternoon of the 26th (riding with Evelyn). Make sure to let me know how I can be a video whore. I was going to see if you might be in Byron Friday, but obviously not now. I haven't jumped in almost 3 weeks and it's killing me!

    What's the diff? The lines on my Sabre(s) seem smooth, some sort of coating and when I demoed someone's Pilot a few months ago they seems rather soft...like they would fray easily. Just curious about the difference.

    Ewww! You better be able to fit 20+ if it is that slow! George, If you're going to Eloy, get on the DC-3 for the sunset New Year's Eve XC. Long ride, but a nostalgic experience.
