Only 407 on a 2.2WL Velo? You sure do NOT rule the world! Of course, I have no idea if I will ever even fly a crossbrace for that matter....I just know that I could probably fit one in my new container I just ordered...as if it will go in any time soon though.

If Lany would actually take a decent picture of me under canopy, then I would show it.

I won't be driving down until Christmas morning (to Goleta)...and then I may be getting a ride with Evelyn to Eloy from 12/26 to 12/29. If I don't go to Eloy though, going to Lompoc is certainly a possibilty from after Christmas to New Year's.

Thanks!

How many jumps for skydiving respect?
Elisha replied to llkenziell's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
OK, fair enough. I guess you get to decide who is "crusty" and who is not. I made about 500 jumps in the last 3 years....Am I "crusty"? I jump with a guy who has over 12,000 jumps and he is definetly "crusty" But, I learn something every time I talk to him. You're only 44 - you can't be crusty. 500 jumps over 3 years is a lot., unless you're comparing it to "working" jumps, swoopers, etc. -
Why do people insist that skydiving gear is too expensive?

Btw, so why should I feel so fortunate? How does it kick ass for the price? I plan to have it for Later Date(>=100 more jumps OR $$$ to buy Sabre2-120), which will probably be the latter. -

uncool canopy, unmodern, not hip, out of fashion. Wow you still jump a 120 sabre 1, you got to get hip and get ya one of those 86 ft x-braced hankies so you can be one of the bu-tee-ful people. sabre120=great canopy especially if the price is right Dave I got one...and freshly relined too. ....and it has a pink center cell (with Navy and light blue other cells)! Mfg 7/94 with 500ish jumps....paid $250. I got it relined after about 35 jumps....and it came on mini-risers and the previous owner had modded the crappy velcro slider to put drawstrings. -
Deployment altitudes for DZ's with multiple aircrafts in use

When will you and Brian be at Perris? I plan to be at some point from the 26th-30th still TBD. Just curious. -
It's actually grey and orange For some reason though, I remember both suits! Maybe G & Y is someone elses.

What's an old-school Sabre? Would that be something different from my mfg 7/94 Sabre 120 or different from my mfg 3/91 Sabre 150 I'm trying to sell (only has around 11 jumps - nuttin' wrong with it). -

Congrats, that's the most ignorant post I've read in ages, and I was reading the Titusville thread. Never insult a man's wife, motorcycle or rig. But it IS shitty! Only silly uneducated hippies jump Racers! -
I think you were one of the people I had in mind. I think Ego may have a similar colored RW suit too (gray and yellow).
-
I've seen those colors out here in NorCal...you'll have to start over. Just kidding. Do whatever floats your boat.
-
Of course a Pilot would be better than a....ick...7-cell. (but I want a Sabre2 for my next...whenever that is).
-
Hey, my new Wings I ordered is mostly purple...and I am straight male.
-
Of those of you have jumped both a DC-9 AND a 727, which is better and why?

I got a ticket by the city police recently for running a stop sign (it was a really weak "California" stop). I'm guilty, I admit it. I was in a hurry to get to work, traffic sucked and I tried to use a side street and was impatient and didn't pay attention to the motorcycle cop. Well, I get the ticket in the mail (or payment form - whatever) and it says I'm NOT elligible for traffic school. I thought it was 12 months, but maybe it is 18. This is California, btw. My last ticket was I think in July '05, so not quite 18 months. So, in a couple of months, when it has been "18 months", how will I know I can take traffic school? Will the DMV or court notify me when I'm elligible? Fortunately, this is in Sonoma County which allows traffic school online. All my other tickets were in counties that didn't allow it. Btw, the ticket was $150...sux, but not too bad.

I'm not comparing the sabre1 to sabre - no one is. I was just petty whining about (what will be) dealing with my own sabre1. The thread is about PD-170 (f111 9 cell) vs Sabre2-170
-
I think you should regraph starting at 1/1/2000 or maybe even earlier.
-
No, no! More like measuring your....nevermind. No, I'm just curious about potential.

Go Sudsy!!

0:4:0 Lotsa fun as usual.

Just ordered a new Wings cut for my Sabre-120. I'm loathing having to get it *gasp* into a d-bag actually fit for that size and not the current 150 d-bag. Yeah, I know, I need to learn to squeeze the air out better.
