I managed to fall off my bicycle over the weekend and road rashed the palm of my hand. I totally agree with all those saying home is where your heart/family is. I grew up in Ohio, and all of my immediate family still lives there. I haven't lived there in 12 years (CA for college for 4 years, 5 years traveling in the south, 2 years in Atlanta...) but I never felt at home in any of those plcaes. I always felt that Cincinnati was still my home. That is until I met my husband, moved to TN, bought a house, got a dog, and got married. Now home for me is definitely no longer in Ohio. It's right here in Mayberry. -

If you are a guy and you video Team 'Licious in freefall then you get a Sausage Sister number. If you are a guy and you just want to jump with team 'Licious and you don't fly video then you get a 'Lil Smoky number.

Sounds to me like you need to find a new vet!!! I have NEVER had to wait longer than 5 minutes at my vet. We are in and out of there so fast, my dog even likes going there!

Has anyone tried Tony's Multi suit for RW? I'm on the verge of ordering the 4-way pants to go with my camera jacket (because I really want booties to film AFF videos...I just fly so much better with booties! ). Not sure yet if I want to order the big way jacket so I can do RW with the Multisuit. I have a perfectly good Bev Suit, but I could use another RW suit with a slower fall rate..... +1 A guy at our DZ just bought a complete system and then had the rigger inspect it. There was some mold on the main canopy, and a tear inside one of the cross ports. I'm 2 steps ahead of you...got my deposit sent, plane tickets booked, and have been SCUBA certified for years! And I'm bringing my very own personal rigger with me so he can take my Cypres out for the blue hole jump and then repack my reserve afterwards. Man, I can not WAIT!!!!!!!!

every 2 WEEKS??? Most places it's 56 days between whole blood donations, less time between plasma donations. I try to donate as often as I can. I hadn't ever heard this about waiting a certain amount of time before jumping. I usually feel normal a few hours after donating, but have never jumped on the same day or the day after, AFAIK. Last time I donated I jumped a little less than 48 hours later and was fine. But I'm sure everyone reacts differently. Probably wait at least a few days, especially if it's your 1st time donating, to see how your body reacts. And I agree about drinking lots of water afterwards. Kudos to you for donating!

It looks pretty good to me, as long as the dropzones advertised on the site actually take the certificates. It shows distance to each dropzone and gives information about them. Maybe they are implying that you dropzone is not safe if they are not part of Pro Skydiving by that "safe skydiving experience" statement. But I also think it's good that they list the other dz's who don't use their service too. At least that way you can find dropzones in your area fairly quickly and easily and compare on your own if you don't want to buy through them. I'm with most everyone else. Switching from 2-3 cups of coffee with a lot of sugar to 4-5 cokes a day is NOT healthier, IMO. I drink 1 travel mug of coffee in the mornings, with HONEY and milk.
