Are we all really Crazy? I believe that we all live life to the Fullest. We live for the day. But yet I talk to WHuffos and they are just totally convinced something is wrong with us. That we must not be right in the head to jump out of planes, and spend all of our money doing it. To me I think that anyone who hasnt jumped out of a plane at least once in their life is a little bit on the crazy insecure side. And as far as spending money goes. To die a rich man would be a waist. If we have the money to spend make the most of it. Live they way you want. Blue SKies all JOe

Viking. Try waiting tables try working at a restaraunt, Not Mcdonalds, but somewhat of a nicer place, Buss tables, Bar back, or wait tables. The money is great and usual flexible hours. I work 5 nights a week as a server. and the money is unbelievable Average over $20 an hour cash. Just a thought. Joe

well lets see, Ive given up lots and lots of money, time, dates, even sex, I quite watching football. i quite paying my bills. Ive given up a friend or two, but its all worth it in the long run. My life will never be the same with skydiving in it.

"The arguement started cuz I was third out from 4500 feet on a "hop and pop" and I was the first to land...." Anne you need to do a hop n pop with me then i garuntee you wont be the first to land even if i go last. Pull at what ever you feel comfortable with at 4500 you still have a good 12 sec. before you need to pull. who wants to be under canopy that high my first HopNpop this winter i dumped right out the door at 4500, My next one that day i pulled at 2900. Now i like to watch everyone else under canopy as i fall past.. Just know what you are pulling at everytime and know what you like but always be safe.

I know nothing about military static lines but arent the chances of a mid air collision pretty good with every one so close and not the best steering capabilities.

Beautiful day hear in the Midwest as well. A little windy but for January you got a love it. Temps were in the 40's which is now warm to me from jumping the last couple weekends. FOr the most part Blue Skies. I nailed a sit for the first time, in a vertical position, usually i end up on my back with my legs above my head.. But all in all a great day.

"You wear one when riding in other people's cars, but not when you are driving" I know it sounds stupid.. but i just feel safe when i drive.. when i am in another persons car im actually scared so i buckle up. Iv been trying to remember to put my seat belt on all the time but never seem to do.
-
when i am driving i rarely where a seat belt accept in Illinoise where they have the right to pull you over for not wearing it.. when anyone else is driving i always buckle up for some reason i have a fear of riding with other people but no problem with me driving i prefer to drive.

My dad gave me money for christmas to spend on skydiving. so what would you recomend.. A full face or a protrack.. IT is cold hear in the Midwest now so a full face might be helpful but a protrack is a protrack.. Any suggestions out there.. THanks Joe

My dad gave me cash to spend strictly on skydiving he said. Now i just have to decide between a full face, (its cold up hear in St. louis) or a protrack , i havent decided wich way to go any suggestions.. blue skies joe.

Definitely "Pit Special" I use one although i maybe shouldnt i weigh 180 and you can fall real fast in a pit specail jumpsuit.. Ive learned to control my fall rate so i stay with the formation most of the time i use to go low alot but after advice from some good skydivers ive learned a little control.. also have someone do a coached fall rate dive wouldnt hurt either..

worked fine for me..

THose are great now you just need to have your rig on and you would be set.. Just dont pull silver before you hit the chair.

I have a Ttiathlon and had the same problems. I then borrowed the Triathlon packing video and it helped out greatly. One step that made it easier to put in the bag which they show on the video is that you do roll the tail.. then when after your first S fold with the rest of the canopy out. Put you knees on the first s fold with the lines between your legs facing the rest of the canopy on the ground in stead of folding the rest of it. pick it up with both hands and bend the top of the canopy down to the the fold then roll the canopy up instead of folding.. Then you just tuck the "ears" in on the side and keep good pressure on the canopy kneeling on top of it.. every one told me just hold it snug but this never worked it always squeezed out.. you have to put your weight on it and really hold it in place then you can just tuck the folded canopy into the bag , works great for me........
