I have always wondered how many of them would still do that if they got absolutely no remuneration for it? No paycheck, no education assistance, just a bunk and some food. (and before people start yelling, I don't mean to imply soldiers are in it for the money, I know they don't get that much)

So, the RC can have their own little different version of marriage. However, gays cannot have their own little different version of marriage? So, if God transcends gender, then why is it only nuns get married to the heavenly Spouse? Why don't priests marry the same entity?

There is no official declaration of war in the current conflict in both Iraq and Afghanistan. So there can be no acts of bravery? I know there was a bit of an informal declaration of war against terrorism.....kind of similar to the informal declaration of war against the US and the western world from some Muslim extremists....

not many otehr countries honour their flag as mych as the US does, To americans their flag means something, to many populations of other countries, they could care less... growing up in Holland, Iw ould have happily burned a German flag....I doubt any german would have really cared though

Wow, that ban in the past has really stopped a lot of gay pedophiles from becoming priests...thank God the Roman Catholic church has never had any problems with priests playing with little boys...
