Wouldn't surprise me. I know that the Dutch police is certainly trained that way. Definitely trained to take wounding shots whenever possible. Quite a shock when you find out not everybody thinks KILL, KILL, KILL isn't it?

Thankfully I live in a country where I am free to transport flour in any way thta I want, without having to worry that I will spend three weeks in jail. Can't imagine living in a police state like that.

I think we can be pretty sure that the condom had not been rubbed with kerosene, coffe grounds, womens cum or anything else...it is utterly pointless tot his conversation. Further, she wasn't stopped on the columbian border (which certainly will see a far larger share of attempted smuggling) but in luggage in a Philly airport..... Really? Cause this "bleeding heart" doesn't want to kill them, but put them away for life? Quite the stretch....I think we might be back to the pausing and thinking before posting part..... First of all, I don't know who the murderer is and what his current sentence is and wether he is eligable for parole at this point....do you? Second, there is the option of moving him to solitary confinement as further punishment. Like I said...back to the thinking before posting part. --------------------- As a side note, I am getting the strong impression that your bloodlust is so strong that killing is your only answer to everything. It is kind of tireseome, but I guess also somewhat revealing.

Which is illegal in itself. Hindering traffic is an offence, so is endangerement. Having flour in a condom is not an offence a crime or illegal.

So, the question becomes two fold. Was the test performed acurately, or did an officer screw up? Second, is a three week wait for the second test reasonable?

okay, fair enough. Then it took three weeks for a more indepth test to show that it was flour. She was kept incarcerated for those three weeks. Obviously some one or something screwed up, which kept an innocent person in jail for three weeks. Since she didn't do anything illegal, she should not be punished for that. Or do you believe that a girl who wears a short skirt and a tight top deserves to be raped? I know it is far more sever, but it is an identical concept.

Yes I do. Yes Don't know. It would seem that many pedophiles are recidivists. In that case, life in prison or chemical castration might be an option. Nope, but when convicted a more severe punishment than currently serving would be in order.

That is why many other countries have a social network to help in those cases. Americans tend to call that socialism or communism (which are both wrong, but what the hell) and generally don't want to pay taxes for it. The American culture seems to be more built around the concept of survival of the fittest. Hence, if you happen to get laid off and have lupus....too fucking bad.

Guess you felt compelled to label yourself under the "some people" category. I am sorry he got killed yes. I do whenever a person gets killed, regardless of what they have done. I also think that the killer should be sought, tried and sentenced. Lastly, I think that for a pedophile priest living in prison is much bigger punishment then being dead. But that is because I believe there is nothing after death, so I won't be expecting any further punishment for him in the "afterlife".

Yet it appears to be effective. All those western countries without a death penalty have lower murder rates than the US, with the death penalty. Like I said earlier, I guess americans just like killing eachother. It does make it very comical when an American starts lecturing other countries about justice and how to reduce crime with more severe punishment.

I know the sniper, his training buddy and his Sergeant, who gave the order to shoot that day....Interesting titbit of info...there was no trained hostage negotiator in the city of Toronto that day, nor was any attempted....
