What is the point of intelligent design?
SkyDekker replied to AlexCrowley's topic in Speakers Corner
Priceless -
I was asking the original poster.

I love how these conversations always come down to bravado.....

Wouldn't the position of the party be an accumulation of the position of its members? Last time I checked the DNC was not a human being with the ability to voice an opinion. I think its members have many an opinion on this issue...you just don't like what they have to say about it. Since in your mind it was just a simple mistake...could have happened to anybody.... Tell me something, don't you find it kind of odd that this "common mistake" was partly made because your fearless leader heard a voice in his head? Do you think that is normal?

I thought you Americans cherished your freedom so much. Does that not include the freedom not to speak English?
-
No, you make him go to a judge to make sure he explains why he wants a wiretap....is it 100% foolproof? No, but it is better than "no explanation needed".

I see your reading comprehension leaves something to be desired..... The statement was the the Democratic Party will not have a unified statement on it, but that individual members of the party are free to have their own thoughts, ideas and opinions on it. Imagine that, they are allowed to express their own opinions, I know that is a little bit scary for the Republicans in the crowd to consider.... Quite a bit different from what you are claiming there, isn't it? On the intelligence issue....you obviously believe an honest mistake was made. Some believe that intelligence that did not fall in line with the established goals was purposly ignored.

Nope...didn't say that at all... Of course it matters. The pro gun crowd has been going on for quite some time how they are so strong on situational awareness and everything. So, basically you would not have done what you did if it wasn't for the fact that you had a gun...I think that was exactly the point I was making earlier. I do have a question for you though. Since in an earlier post you advocated how society would be a lot better if everybody had a gun. How would you have reacted if they pulled a gun first? Or if three of his buddies pulled a gun on you as soon as you reached for yours? I am happy you are okay, but to me a gun should be the same as an AAD. If you wouldn't jump without an AAD maybe you shouldn't jump at all...Similarly, if you need a gun to go into a specific neighbourhood, maybe you should reconsider that as well.... Sounds like you would have saved yourself quite a bit of stress.... Flame away....and Merry Christmas.

Nope and this is the busiest time of year for me as well..... Is okay, I'll be here Saturday and then back on Monday at 7 am...no rest for the wicked.... Hope all is well at good ole skydive burnaby....

Sounds like you are going from tight end to wide receiver.... Remember though, it is only gay if you push back.....
-
I like it when you address me in plural....makes me feel all majestic.... I know plenty of cops who run spouses, boy friends of daughters, baby sitters etc through the system. I know plenty of cops who have no issue with drinking a beer while driving down the road.... The point is that when very strict policies and procedures are not in place, the system will be abused!!!!!

So a police officer could easily request his wife's car to be traced to see if she is fucking around on him. Or find some dirt on the guy that pissed him off in the line up the day before... Or the government is using this system to go after unpaid taxes......was the police used for that previously in the UK?

So who decides which license plates are followed and for what reasons?
-
you must have skipped a post.
-
How about if a person physically followed you everywhere you went all day long....would that bother you?
-
it is funny how you singlehandedly further the stereotype of an american though.....
-
I think that is where things get scary. Where information gathered by private companies is automatically forwarded to the government. Isn't it funny that in your fight for peace and freedom all you keep giving up is your own freedom.....
-
never mind....no use
-
isn't this where it all starts? Happy you are safe....

I seriously need some prayers and/or vibes right now...please.

Canada's PM Paul Martin plans on banning hand guns
SkyDekker replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
Why would the rest of Canada care if you go? We don't see any of the oil revenue anyways. You and Quebec can seperate all you want. Just don't come begging back when the economy goes south and you guys once again don't have a pot to piss in. Funny, that when things go well, you want to seperate, yet when things go bad, you have no problem sticking your hand out to Ottawa and demanding help..... -
so, I don't have the right to free speech when I am in New York tomorrow?
