Or maybe Zimmerman told Trayvon he was a fucking coon before he turned and walked back.
-
Ah yes, the "when I do it, it is different". If you can answer why something goes viral in social media, you can make an absolute fortune in marketing. Do you have such answers?
-
If that account is correct, I think the question becomes when the confrontation started. Did it start with Zimmerman's decision to start following Trayvon? Would you feel threatened if somebody started following you at night?
-
No. But what you do is you follow them and hope they get annoyed enough to confront you. Then just shoot them in self defence.
-
Up thread you are berating people for jumping to conclusions without knowing facts. Here you start a sentence with "I suspect" Hypocrite much?
-
At least they are doing one. This whole thing started because they didn't do too much of one the first time around.
-
I agree. It would open up a great loophole for killing people though. Just follow them in the dark until they feel threatened, then shoot them in self defence. I think this case will come down to a discussion on when an "incident" is started. If you purposely follow somebody who you think looks odd, without having witnessed a crime, aren't you the one creating the "incident"?

Or in the eloquent words of rush: When playing at the edges, one needs to acept the fact that one can get cut, And then take responcibilty that comes with it.
-
How does that not make him caucasian? I would consider both aryan and iberian to be subsets of caucasian.
-
And a sane person would know that without following this kid, there wouldn't be confrontation or a murder. I find it strange that those who constantly remind us how important freedoms are, are not up in arms by the lack of freedom granted to the killed teen. Why was he not free to just walk around? Why was he not free to walk home?

A car wash? I know the average American is obese enough to resemble a car, but most of the rest of the world can do with something smaller
-
You have something to dispute those facts?
-
That's the american way though. Finance, finance, finance. Want a bigger car, finance it. Want a bigger house, finance it. Want nicer vacations, finance it. Want a bigger army, finance it.

What should the drinking age be in the US?

I agree, and there are laws in place for that too. I don't believe in the state taking on the role of parent. I find it insane that we would allow 18 year olds to make life or death decisions, yet they cannot decide to have a beer. -
Yes like staging a peacefull walkout: http://www.care2.com/causes/take-action-students-suspended-for-organizing-peaceful-walkout.html

Fact is, kid is dead after being followed for looking out of place and subsequently shot. Fact is, somebody decided to play Barney Fife. Fact is, walking around playing cop with a gun comes with responsibilities and consequences. Fact is, Zimmerman followed and shot the wrong kid, any negative consequences to him aren't the fault of the media, but the consequences of his own actions. Fact is, Zimmerman put himself in the situation he is in, as a result of his own decision making. Fact is, if you go looking for trouble, don't be surprised when you find trouble.

So, gun owners kill innocent people all the time?
-
yes, YOU would indeed think that.

So a Presidential nominee front runner (presumed runner up) says he's going to enforce obscenity laws to fight the scourge of pornography and it's just symbolic pandering. But a lefty proposes shutting down Rush and it's proof that the liberals will ban free speech. Yep...not your usual double standard at all. But it is your usual inability to see a difference. Enforcing existing laws vs. creating new ones. Yep, no difference there. So a Conservative wants to use existing laws to limit free speech, and that is good. But a lefty proposes a law and it is proof that liberals will ban free speech. Makes sense to some I guess.

Because otherwise justice would be working correctly and justly and there isn't a whole lot worth protesting.

To me it is something to be decided by the parents. I had my first severely watered down wine with dinner at age 12.
