    That's great. Not sure how you are equating keeping guns at home in a safe and not within reach of kids, with leaving them ignorant and no education. But then I get the feeling that shades of grey may not be your forte. I love that conclusion. I am happy that you are using your tax dollars to establish that boys who own legal guns have a lower delinquency rate than boys who own illegal guns. I am sure that could not have been established without a long study. lol

    I am not going to do anything. My opinion was that if I had young kids and guns in the house, then I would keep my guns in a gun safe. That I would deem the risk of my child hurting themselves or a sibling higher than the risk of violent home invasion, requiring immediate access to arms. I really don't give a fuck what you do with your guns, or what other parents in the US wish to do. I do know that I will have no sympathy for a parent who has a kid shoot themselves or a sibling with a gun found around the house. If a child goes on a shooting rampage with a gun from a parent, I think that parent should be held responsible and charged.

    I think it is a personal decision to be made by gun owners. I know what my decision would be. I also believe that if you leave guns around and your kid shoots themselves or their sibling, you deserve the pain and anguish it will cause.

    Nice little rant. There are quite a few here, who have stated that with proper training it should be fine to leave guns out with kids around. I disagree, feeling that the risk of a child shooting themselves or their sibling by accident (or intention) is greater than the need for self defence from violent home invasion.     I wasn't arguing for or against anything. I was stating a fact. I have always said that Americans have their 2nd Amendment right. What you do with your guns and where you keep them doesn't affect me. Personally I think you are stupid when you leave your guns in the open with young kids around. I know many here will disagree with me.

    Not sure what you mean with that sentence. Worse as in more employees? Worse as in ven more people unemployed? Worse as in a worse economic environment? I doubt you will find too many respectable economics who would agree that adding 5 million people to the ranks of the unemployed will speed up recovery. How exactly do you think that would work?
