Uhm no, thats not what the news is reporting. 1. Vandalizing school property 2. tardiness and truancy 3. trace amounts of MJ in an empty bag. The jewelery was confiscated, he was not suspended for it, nor has it ever been established if the jewelery was stolen.

What evidence is there of Martin taking off and running? Is there anything more than just Zimmerman stating it?

Not at all. Isn't anybody concerned this may not have happened the first time around? (Never mind the larger issue that race relations are still extremely poor for this outcry to occur)

Except that there are no eye witness reports regarding that. Eye witnesses were attracted by cries for help, those didn't start until after the fight started. There is confusion amongst eye witnesses who was on top of whom. The one eye witness who has gone to the media has been described in reports as a friend of Zimemrman.

Didn't mean to be misleading, but the empty baggie was the reported violation of the drug policy.

For an official diagnoses. Absolutely. Not really what I was talking about. The records that I was talking about are so privilidged and hermetically sealed that for instance nobody would know he was serving a 5 day suspension for en empty baggie.

Really? School suspensions go on the students record within the school board. General truculence and fights would have been documented as well. There is always the option that this was Martin's first unprovoked assault. Personally I find that option less likely.

For instance, but that one was for an empty marijuana baggie. (plus isn't MJ supposed to make you mellow and less likely to fight?) Have their been any other suspensions? Don't care if his parents are fighting to keep it out of the public's eye. I am sure the information could be gathered by police and justice officials.

Not disputing that at all. What is at question to me is how it got to that point. We know why Zimmerman started following Martin. We don't know why Martin attacked Zimmerman, if that is what happened. A 17 year old male with an anger management problem would likely have that documented somewhere in some form.
