    they will NEVER give up the Bush lied bs Even though before he even became a canidate, the clintons, kerry and many other said what Bush was saying Their reality has no basis in fact but if they say it enough times they can get the school text books to rewrite history for them I don't think Bush lied. I do think that Bush and Co. made it very clear what intelligence should be brought forward and what intelligence should be buried. I think the intelligence agencies were used to drum up justification for a fait accompli.

    Exactly and when you give them all an izu, nobody will think of going in a school for an average duration mass school shooting. And then you won't need an MRAP either. (Plus need for funding will go down, since there likely will be significantly less students to worry about. Hence, salaries for school board administrators and trustees can go up. Really is a win win)

    Not really. Wendy's used to own Tim Horton's. THe combo units stem from an idea of an executive at Scott's Food Services. They have worked so well that even after Wendy's ownership of TH ended they continued with the combined concept. TH already operates a Cold Stone Ice Cream concept in some of their TH coffee locations.

    Man oh man oh man did you just nail it right the F**k on the head of the nail. Last time I checked - it used to be that you were innocent until proven guilty. The problem we have now is that is more illusion that reality. THAT is where we need to start problem solving. The issue is that there is a very clear perception among society that police officers routinely get away with making mistakes that have life changing consequences for the civilians affected. Cops getting investigated and cleared by cops, often from the same department.

    Bush was much better. He created a war out of smoke and mirrors which lead to the rise of ISIS. Obama has no where near topped that feat yet.

    Why would anyone fight if the other guy will just "stand his ground" and kill you with a gun? Everybody should have guns to defend themselves and more people should have fistfights. Those two statements simply don't work together.

    It was a discussion on societal priorities. Unfortunately when it comes to guns, people see any negative discussion as a promotion of a ban.

    You are right. We could never make a statement about a society. Can't talk about stiff upper lips of the English, the politeness of Canadians, the punctuality of the Swiss, the stiffness of the Germans, the importance of ceremony with the Japanese. There are generalities to cultures and societies even when those societies are made up of individuals. No it isn't a liberal thing. You are relatively intelligent, I am sure you understand the concept. But if you have to put people down to make yourself feel better, who am I to mess with your coping mechanism. Keep handing those uzis to 9 year old girls, it is a real benefit to society!

    It's interesting that you think it's illegal for them to see breasts. Particularly under the supervision of both parents. You are right, America has a very healthy attitude when it comes to nudity. Nudity bad, guns awesome sums it up pretty well.

    I like breasts. And I like 9 year olds not being in a situation where they end up killing some one. I guess I have to understand many people feel different.

    How do you hand a firearm to a breast? You can't in the US, the breast has to stay fully covered. Society may fall apart otherwise.

    So you are perfectly fine for it to be very illegal for a 9 year old to see a breast not belonging to their mother, but pefectly legal to hand them a fully automatic firearm.

    I don't think they should go after the parents at all. I think a society that displays the contrasts as outlined in the article has some serious problems.

    I don't think anybody thinks they can get rid of all the guns in the US. The question is if guns are less easily obtainable if gun deaths in the US are reduced to a number where you can be equal to the rest of the modern world. Secondly, the question is if that is even something Americans care about. In my opinion, the original premise of the 2nd Amendment is no longer valid. Is that even important to that discussion?
