  1. I could post them, but Rush will just come in and say the scientists are lying and the "real" scientists developing "real" science on semantics are being oppressed and surpressed,
  2. Very nice point. What else have we tried? Nothing except more of the same thing. Look at our inner cities. Look at rural America. Look at the number of people on food stamps. The educational achievement of the US. The demise of American manufacturing. The number of people in prisons. Compare to 1960. The Great Society experiment failed. Flat out. But they haven't changed and won't change at all. It is an old and stagnant idea, but there is HELL to pay for anyone that tries to do something to change it. Medicare, food stamps, Medicaid, Social Security have stagnated into a stinky morass that nobody will go near. Time for a different idea because we've shown that poverty is not fixed by throwing money at it. Political power is, however, maintained by being the person throwing the money. So there is a lot to be gained by keeping a large part of the population very poor and a much smaller part of the population very rich. The bigger the gap, the better.
  3. Just - ugh - stupid. Where do we get these fuggin nut jobs in the judicial system? In this case he was appointed by Conservative Super Hero Ronald Reagan.
  4. Now he can pretend race doesn't matter to him and you are the first one to use the "race card" like all the "race baiters" out there!
  5. There are a lot of legal children in this same predicament. Children born on US soil are natural born US citizens. So if two people illegally in the US have a child, that child is legal. You further don't have a national language. It certainly isn't only illegal children who get to school age with very limited english.
  6. Exactly, Some people here will actually try and ruin your business in real life. Guess the justification: Homeland Security. The nazis had people like that too!
  7. Clearly you two want the terrorists to win!
  8. I don't think it is unusual for some one to flinch when they watch somebody get killed. Specially if that is not something they are normally exposed to. Basing your decision on whether that makes a person fit for presidential office is insane.
  9. That's why you are so smart, you are wrong more than you are right Just kidding, I fully agree with you!
  10. So basically you were wrong. What an unbelievably underhanded and shitty move. My opinion of you was pretty low to begin with, this doesn't just reinforce it, it actually lowers it. Jesus must be proud of you Ron!
  11. Really? Like the intelligence used to invade Iraq?
  12. Personally I think voting mostly conservative makes me not a liberal. The Conservative Party in the US is a bit of a joke though.
  13. What a fine example of fear mongering, which you so object to in another thread. We let? I think that choice of words is pretty telling.
  14. Yup and so did congress. See how effective that fear mongering is. But, I didn't hear you object when it was used to help a cause you agreed with.
  15. Wow - Do you actually believe what you write?! Libertarianism is fundamentally different from Conservatism. Republicans do not want progressive change. Libertarians want freedom. Big Difference. I haven't seen a libertarian speak out about legalizing marijuana, while combating that is a platform issue for republicans. Lol, the libertarian party calls for appealing all laws that prohibit or control homosexuality. I am sure Ron is a huge supported of the Libertarian Party.
  16. What group are you assuming I hate? Muslims who glorify those fighting and dying for their cause, fighting their "holy" war.
  17. I'll rephrase: When it can help fuel his hatred for the Democratic party. Libertarians are just Conservatives who use that monicker to hide from the negative side of the Conservative Party. They tend to cheerlead close to everything the Conservative Party stands for, but when something negative is brought up they state: Oh, but I am really a libertarian. No different from: I have black friends.
  18. Except you believe that the teachings of God should govern everybody. All should be subjected to his wishes and the wishes of your church. You would be fine with a very right wing government, with a strong christian base, if not fully "governed" by christian teachings.
  19. Nothing like a good implication for fear mongering. Lol, you had no problem with it when the fear mongering was used to persuade Americans to support a war in Iraq. Mushroom Cloud Yellow Cake Imminent Danger Homeland Security
  20. Right. And Ron belongs to one, yet vehemently hates socialism/communism. Which is what my post was about.
  21. I don't have much of a choice when having a "conversation" with a self-admitted troll. Quade had admitted to trolling, so have many others . . . yet you focus on Ron, why is that? Aren't liberals supposed to be mor equal minded and sharing, or are thy just that biased? Because Ron only cares about dead americans when it can help his political party. I guess you are the same.
  22. I find it more interesting that most don't see the similarities with a group you hate.
  23. While a piece of that is true, ISIS started in Syria, so I'm not really certain you have my full agreement on all of the causes there. I think if anyone is really to blame for ISIS, it is probably the folks in KSA who are funding them. You'll notice KSA isn't really denouncing ISIS and all of this war only means more money for them anyway. Without the power vaccuum in Iraq, you don't see this drive and rise. The power vaccuum is there because an American president wanted to show his daddy he could do better.
