  1. I just got my new rig back from the shop (had my main, cypress, and reserve put in) and bluntly.....it looks like SHIT! I bought a Icon I4 and the specs says it fits a 150....well, I put a 150 (both reserve and main) and fankly, it doesnt look like it fits. The eye holes on flap 3 and 4 are about 3/4 of an inch apart and I'm not even sure the damn pin will come out. Apart that, is this even good for the container? Is this just a shitty pack job on the reserve/main? Is this normal on a new container and the material stretches after a little while? Does 150 not really mean 150? pic attached...... 2. Any suggestions on the top fold. I pro pack and I'm good all the way up to the last fold. Thats when I start running into problems. I have the sides push out, and it seems to inflate.....I also put both knees on directly after the last fold, and keep one knee onthe opposite side while putting in the bag. ????? 4. Thanks Chuck. I'll actually be at the DZ tomorrow and was planning on doing just that. Just wanted any info I could pull tonight before I go to sleep so I dont sit up all night wondering. Even if I cant get a definite answer on this forum (but really, how many questions posted about gear can) its nice to at least hear recommendations, and ideas. thanks again! 5. First, I just finished searching the forums for this answer and granted, there were about 19 pages of LEG STRAP info, none exactly answered this question. Reason for this question is I have a custom rig and the leg straps sinched all the way down would fit TIGHT in the crotch....well, after 3 months of Physio and not able to do alot of phsycal activity, my legs have apparently gotten smaller, or my pants tighter. Now when I sinch the straps all the way its a little snug, but no where near TIGHT. Is this OK, or do I need to have work done on the straps before jumping my rig? Also, I know placement of chest strap after opening might be an issue if straps are too loose, can I hang in my rig to get an idea of chest strap while sitting in the saddle? Thanks, Billy SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?
  6. I buy mine beer at the end of the day.....every day I jump. And if I didnt have any hard openings, I usually throw in a little extra cash too. Take care of them and they will ALWAYS take care of you, and I still havent had a reserve ride. 14. Yes. USMC 1775 really is a marine. He was not a perpetrator of this hoax. He was a victim. He is a friend of the family who was contacted by Scott's mother, because he was relatively local. He gave up a significant amount of his personal time and energy trying to locate Scott. I believe he acted in good faith, and honorably. Thanks for clearing that up for me Tom. Much appreciated. 16. First: My condolanses (spelling) to the family. No one should ever have to go through such an ordeal...especially from their own flesh and blood. Second: I wanted to express a true "THANKS" to the complete jumping (sky/base) family out there. It's always refreshing to see so many people offering help to someone they never met but bonded by an activity shared. Finally: Is the person who originally posted (USMC 1775) even really a marine? If so, I'm sure some of our USMC brothers can find out and put some heat on his ass for this little stunt. Sorry for hijacking...
