So the hornet 150 should go in the bag easier. Thats what I was hoping for. Thanks for the info. Billy SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

What kind of difference in "pack volume" would a sam 150 be compared to a hornet 150? SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

Rigger/Packers near RAF Lakenheath
woodpecker replied to woodpecker's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Please PM me. I need some practice in the "packing" department and figure, while its shitty and cold outside...I could have a rigger/packer help me out on the weekends so I'm up and running when the weather changes. NCFITZ and I flew to Holland from the UK on easy jet (carried on our rigs/equip.) and had no problems. SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

Watched the vid. actually the teaser for it (5 minutes) from skydiving movies. Do I need to watch the complete vid. to understand the terminology? Where can I get the complete vid.? Also, who does the song playing at the beginning of the teaser? Sorry for all the questions, off for the holidays and bored. Why is the terminology different with "death campers"? I've been reading BASE threads for quite some time now and every once in awhile I read "Yonkles, Seatbelts, etc". Can anyone explain why? Just a curious skydiver (soon to be BASE after the FJC this summer) SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

thanks people. Just wanting to know if the damn thing sitting in my rig has had any problems from people who have chopped, and rode one down. Billy SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?

Fitz and I travel with all of our stuff and we just strap them to our carryone and stow it in the overhead compartment with the rigs. No problem....though passengers do seem to take quite an interest and you get the whuffo statements like "if it goes down, I'm sticking with you". Total equipment (rigs, 3 helmets, alti's, mp3 players, book for plane, logbooks, couple snacks, writing pad)....no problems at all for us to carry on. You might run into the problem of not being able to clear your ears.....OUCH!!! I had the same thing last summer and jumped anyway. Kept trying to clear my ears the whole jump, to include the canopy ride down. I didnt learn my leason the first jump and did a second. Ears hurt for an entire day. Dont take the chance.
