Just got back from bodyflight (bedford) and what a great experience. Granted, I didnt get to fly today (completely booked and I just showed up with no warning) but had a great time anyway. Being this was the first time I've ever even been to a tunnel, the staff showed me around and left me just hang out and watch one of the teams practice. While sitting there, another staff member took it upon himself to discuss my skill level and what to expect in the tunnel for the first time. Very very informative..... I booked two 2.5 minute slots for next Sunday and cant wait. I have no idea what to expect except its harder in the tunnel than in actual freefall, so I guess I'm just a beginner AGAIN! Any wisdom from tunnel rats would be welcome. What to expect, what makes it easier, etc....... I live close to thetford and need a rigger who has packed icons or has no issues calling aerodyne for instructions (i have the number) to repack my reserve for me. The pack job I just recieved is bad and I need a new one.
