    No, the Muslims are taking care of that. One of the reasons for Muslim bashing and the increasing level of Muslim bigotry is a response to the violence of Muslims worldwide. Bet your parents didn't call Hitler or his army those poor misguided Germans. They were Nazis and lived under the cloud of judgement and bigotry for another 30-40 years. Same for the Japanese who were called nips. What overcame a lot of German and Japanese bigotry was atonement. By both sides. The atonement process was started by the Germans and Japanese. That process has yet to begin. The Japanese only atoned to the US because they were on their knees. Their neighbors are still waiting for so little as an acknowledgement of the atrocities the Japanese committed against them.     Yes. From what I am hearing, either he did know what was going on or he should have known about it. Pretty vindictive. And pretty stupid to think it wouldn't get out. I disagree -- this is petty shit and he'll recover just fine. If there's anything that hinders his chances, it's his praise of Obama during hurricane Sandy.     Great movie, nice song too. The original is by one of my favorite Napolitan singers, Renato Carosone. However I think you're way off with your idea that people no longer want to be Americans. Though America has tarnished its good reputation in the last 15 years, I know quite a few non-Americans -- quite a few of them Italians -- whose "dream" it is to live and work in America.
