NO! Well apparently you're part of the problem. Like I said, these various groups all believe in their exclusive right to enter the pearly gates, so obviously someone is fucking up. My guess is each and every one of them. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Sure, and if I studied scripture I might have just a slightly different take than you do and decide that the International Church of Christ is exactly where I fit in. Then I would think that you're going to burn in eternal hellfire for not believing what I believe, just as you would believe about me. Just as a member of the Worldwide Church of God would believe about both of us, just as a Jehovah's Witness would believe about all of the above. Obviously someone is fucking up. Do you really think this is what Jesus intended? Basic Christian Beliefs: There is only one God (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6, 8; John 17:3; 1 Corinthians 8:5-6; Galatians 4:8-9). God is three in one or a Trinity (Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; John 14:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Acts 2:32-33, John 10:30,17:11, 21; 1 Peter 1:2). God is omniscient or "knows all things" (Acts 15:18; 1 John 3:20). God is omnipotent or "all powerful" (Psalm 115:3; Revelation 19:6). God is omnipresent or "present everywhere" (Jeremiah 23:23, 24; Psalm 139). God is sovereign (Zechariah 9:14; 1 Timothy 6:15-16). God is holy (1 Peter 1:15). God is just or "righteous" (Psalm 19:9, 116:5, 145:17; Jeremiah 12:1). God is love (1 John 4:8). God is true (Romans 3:4; John 14:6). God is spirit (John 4:24). God is the creator of everything that exists (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 44:24). God is infinite and eternal. He has always been God (Psalm 90:2; Genesis 21:33; Acts 17:24). God is immutable. He does not change (James 1:17; Malachi 3:6; Isaiah 46:9-10). The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 2:11-12; 2 Corinthians 13:14). Jesus Christ is God (John 1:1, 14, 10:30-33, 20:28; Colossians 2:9; Philippians 2:5-8; Hebrews 1:8). Jesus became a man (Philippians 2:1-11). Jesus is fully God and fully man (Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus was sinless (1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15). Jesus is the only way to God the Father (John 14:6; Matthew 11:27; Luke 10:22). Man was created by God in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). All people have sinned (Romans 3:23, 5:12). Death came into the world through Adam's sin (Romans 5:12-15). Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2). Jesus died for the sins of each and every person in the world (1 John 2:2; 2 Corinthians 5:14; 1 Peter 2:24). Jesus' death was a substitutionary sacrifice. He died and paid the price for our sins, so that we might live. (1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45). Jesus resurrected from the dead in physical form (John 2:19-21). Salvation is a free gift of God (Romans 4:5, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 1:8-10). The Bible is the "inspired" or "God-breathed," Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21). Those who reject Jesus Christ will go to hell forever after they die (Revelation 20:11-15, 21:8). Those who accept Jesus Christ will live for eternity with him after they die (John 11:25, 26; 2 Corinthians 5:6). Hell is a place of punishment (Matthew 25:41, 46; Revelation 19:20). Hell is eternal (Matthew 25:46). There will be a rapture of the church (Matthew 24:30-36, 40-41; John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12). Jesus will return to the earth (Acts 1:11). Christians will be raised from the dead when Jesus returns (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17). There will be a final judgment (Hebrews 9:27; 2 Peter 3:7). Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10). God will create a new heaven and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1). In my counseling framework, I reduce it even further to expedite interaction. Do you believe in the deity of Jesus Christ of Nazareth? Do you accept His virgin birth? Do you believe in His atoning death as a propitiation for your sin? Do you believe He was resurrected from the dead and is alive now? Do you confess Jesus Christ of Nazareth as your Lord and Savior? I'm sure you're familiar with the fundamental problem that the Bible can be interpreted in numerous ways -- that's how we have all these Christian splinter groups to begin with. Your particular group is a result of just one interpretation. Being that you believe he's still alive, do you really think Jesus is pleased with all this chaos and division in his name? Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

I am a member of the church. You must have misread and certainly misspoke. Perhaps he was referring to the Worldwide Church of God. Coincidentally, their beliefs are not much different to yours in the "eternal damnation" respect: Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Jews are likely to strongly differ with your opinion there (with the exception of the Messianic ones). Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

They usually characterize this as "love." Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

That's easy...you get Catholicism, along with their sick and twisted-curved crucifix resembling something out of Kurtz’s temple from Apocalypse Now... Let me see if I understand this correctly; you do not think Catholics are Christians? Most evangelical Christians believe that Catholics are not Christians. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

He is at fault. If he would have kept his mouth shut instead of going all "son of god" on everyone which ended in his agonizing death on the cross, this would never have happened. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Voter issues? Nah, they dont exist do they......
masterblaster72 replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
I found this revolting: Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up. -
The lie machine would take a huge hit if people stop voting according to what they see and hear on television. As a consequence voters may end up thinking a little bit and using some common sense to elect fewer corporate shills into office. At least that's my theory (or pipe dream, depending on how you look at it). Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Whatever else = watching too much television. Turn off the television and start thinking for yourself and these problems would go away. For the American populace, disconnecting from tv is apparently too much to ask. I used to own property on the Upper East Side and I would hardly call it a solidly 1% neighborhood. Additionally, I knew someone from the South Bronx whose father was treated for cancer at NY Presbyterian, so it is not necessarily a hospital only for the rich. "Democracy" Now On Sale To The Highest Bidder

Exactly. It's been apparent for some time, but now things have taken a rather brazen turn. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up. -

"Just been?" We've been getting screwed by the 1% for at least a couple of decades now. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up. -
Reptile was by far the best. I laughed out loud and played it a few times. Looks like fun. Where do you get the video? I might do a few myself. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Probably, just not in the theaters. I watched the Left Behind trilogy for laughs and will watch this one for the same reason. Russian legislators approve troop deployment in Ukraine
masterblaster72 replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/vladimir-putin-nominated-for-nobel-peace-prize/ That article reeks of Onion though that's not the case. In thinking about this for a moment, Putin seems a worthy candidate considering he was able to pull off an invasion with minimal bloodshed (shitbag that he is aside). Americans: What would it take for you to leave America for good?
masterblaster72 replied to wmw999's topic in Speakers Corner
The opportunity to live and work in a country with a better quality of life, like Switzerland. The Patriot Act, the war on Iraq and fracking helped a lot in the decision, and my dual citizenship/EU passport facilitated the move.
