No one said anything about Jello wrestling with Wonder Woman did they? Did I miss it?

What do you expect when your typical argument is this emoticon?

I love it when 'dittoheads' quote Limbaugh verbatim. Now quick, tells us again how you think for yourself! For all those interested, the 'drive by media' is ALL media, excepting Fox News and Newsmax. Ooops! You forgot the Extravagantly Ignorant Broadcasting network.

I always wondered the same thing, but it didn't bother me quite as much as Superman taking bullets to the chest from 5 ft but then ducking when the bad guy threw his gun at him.

You are indeed brave, Sir knight, but the fight is mine.

Woman denied right to use marijuana as life-saving medication

I'm glad I read to the end of the thread. I was going to post the same thing but with "zoloft" or "ritalin". Probably wouldn't have as many folks being diagnosed those drugs either IMO. -
You might want to take it easy on us liberal hack job artists and reign in your own first. Looks like Bush's Congressional rubber stamp has run out of ink. http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2007/03/second_republic.html Dam right, comments like this make everything apear in perspective My comments or the ones that were made by the Republicans in the link I provided? Looking at the time stamp on your post I'm assuming the former.

That's why he's rich. It's a smart move. This way he can use "Halliburton" money to attack Halliburton. Smart is the man who shoots his enemies with their own bullets

I can't say I agree with you there. Who do you think has more influence, a Soros or a Scaife and their millions or a Bill O'Reilly and his prime time slot on the "we distort, you abide" channel?

"Sutler: Mr. Dascombe, what we need is a clear message to the people of the country! This message should be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen on every television. This message must resound throughout the ENTIRE INTERLINK! I want this country to realize that we stand on the edge of oblivion! I want every man, woman, and child to understand how close we are to chaos! I WANT EVERYONE TO REMEMBER WHY THEY NEED US!"

It was Barry Manilow that did that to me. Fortunately, there was a Slayer DVD available that brought me back to my usual cool-headed state. Nothing like a little raining blood to in a controlled environment to keep me doing something malicious and deadly....like throwing a McDonalds cup into the car next to me. Man, I was THIS close to losing it!

That one doesn't work either. "Although Bush and President Bill Clinton each dismissed nearly all U.S. attorneys upon taking office, legal experts and former prosecutors say the firing of a large number of prosecutors in the middle of a term appears to be unprecedented and threatens the independence of prosecutors." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/13/AR2007031300776_pf.html

I AM over it. I was ready to have Gonzales fired a long time ago. The is just another example of why. And I think what you mean is "no NEW story here". Gonzales has been working as Dubya's lawyer for a long time. The Justice Dept. gig was just a lateral move. Not unlike Tony Snow's
-
Back at ya. And don't let the copy of the memo get in the way of shooting the messenger Now I know why Sampson was fired. Too much "truthiness". http://thinkprogress.org/2007/03/13/sampson-rove-attorney/

It's ok. You can say "lied".
-
I wonder why Gonzales and Bush have apologized for the mistakes and why Sununu said he should be fired if this is such a non-issue. I especially liked Gonzales' apology. (paraphrasing) "I screwed up and take responsibility. Someone else will be fired

From your list I don't think you're a "Republican" or a "conservative" or a "Democrat". You sound more like an independent who is struggling to assign an identity to your beliefs. God and Guns don't "belong" to the R's, they just want you to think that. "Conservatives" nowadays means only one thing, you have to be against abortion and you have to be pro-Republican President regardless of their behavior. The latter is just a case of having your team's logo in the top slot, nothing to do with ideology. You also have to hate "Dems", whoever they are, regardless of whether or not they're pushing a traditionally Republican agenda like fiscal responsibility, smaller and less intrusive federal government, and anti-nation building sentiment. Don't worry about the label. It's really meaningless so I wouldn't worry about it unless you're looking to belong to what is essentially a club. P.S. On the CO2 issue, I don't know what else to tell you. What you believe is your decision. I have a tendency to think that dumping millions of years worth of land-locked carbon into the atmosphere over the course of a hundred years might contribute significantly to global warming. Think of a large estuary. Sure, salinities change annually depending on tides and drought. It's a natural event. But if you dug up millions of cubic meters of salt from the bonneville salt flats and dumped it into the Chesapeake Bay, would that devastating salinity change be a "natural" occurrence?

don't forget Paul Michael Glacier rehm shot.

Holy shit - I thought I was just spouting BS, but it looks like I was right - at least sort of. Actually that number should be higher if the question is "how many scientists". How many coauthors are there on those papers? I am assuming of course that the coauthors agreed with the findings expressed in their own papers. Then again, since I haven't personally read them, it is indeed possible that there are a few thousand coauthors on each of those seven papers which provide the alternative view

LMAO Maybe smellivision is a bad idea.

So if calling one woman a "bitch" or "cunt" doesn't indicate misogyny, do you also believe that calling one black man a "nigger" doesn't indicate racism? I understand your point, but I just want to clarify that I really, honestly, only think that the word "cunt" applies to Ann Coulter. I simply cannot think of one other person on this Earth who deserves that term. If I can think up a word that would be worse I'd gladly swap out the "C" word for it. To date, all I can come up with is to preface it with the word "Whadafucking".
