just my 0.02 - Bad news sells more papers than good - good things happaen so often, which is great, like all the thousands of jumps made safely every weekend without a scratch,... ... yet those veyr unfortunate incidents, which guaranteed will always happen in any action sport, occur every so often and so are deemed news headlines because they aren't the norm to the general public. Journalism is a business, and money = good business, hence why they focus on the bad stuff. Sincere condolences to the jumpers family. mike

Could i say that, although this might not be a reason fore the alliance, that America was founded by UK colonists - therefore you could be descended from a UK colonist. so youre kind of having a go at yourself!

Glad you had a good time... i can;t really help you much (only a student) but i know gear runs into the thousands of dollars (rigs wise). Why don't you check the USPA website? they might have something or links to manufatcures.. Good luck with your certification, hope it all goes well!

Why don't you make your own - draw something you can relate to about what you need to remember which you could remember easier than texts - then look at it whenever you need to to refresh yourself. For exams, deep breaths and confidence in yourself should help you perform better with the questinos and prevent a kind of brain freeze Good luck mate, Im sure you will do fine! Mike

They are evil little bastards for sure; the "killer bee" of the squirrel world. I wish there were more fox squirrels around here because they are more laid back, but at my apartment complex, it's the grey squirrels running the show. Walt Quote lol so they tell when to wash the dishes, when to clean and when to go to bed?

oh you know in england, it was the grey squirrel that has forced our native red squirrel almost into extinction! They are cute, but very bad for our poor red squirrel

I guess, in some ways, its great we share the same common ideology, as it means both countries can benefit from each other, and i think the UK is lucky to be allied to the USA considering, like you mentioned the UK is outside of greater europe. However, even as a native yourself casting all british off as arrogant is slightly unfairdont you think, there are plenty of lovely people who aren't snobby and " stiff upper lip" - they are just friendly and lvoing people so many in so many other countries. Do you think trade is part of it to?
