Good for him. I find it rather ironic that the "anti-vaxxers" ignore a very, very important statistic when the make all their claims: How many doctors refuse to vaccinate their kids. I can't find a number from a source I trust, but everything indicates it's small. Tiny. Infinitesimal. I strongly suspect that even if this was pointed out the anti-vaxxers would come up with something to explain it such as the doctors being brainwashed by big pharma or some other nonsense. They aren't big on logic or reason. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Someone on here shared a good trick - if you google the title shown, you'll get a link that isn't behind paywall. Just did it with this one and it seemed to work fine. As for me, people seemed to be getting very confused between opinions of the film, and opinions about the person. There are two distinct things. You can hate the film and still respect the person. Yet you have no problem with using tax funded services... Nobody likes paying taxes, but taxation is needed to run a country. To run a country? Sure. But it could be a lot cheaper to run our country than it is, that's where my problem really is in the end: waste. If they quit throwing away so much money on stupid bullshit, they can steal less money from us to try and make up for it. And here's the root of the problem. Everyone has a different idea of what "Stupid bullshit" is. Never try to eat more than you can lift

People are outsourcing call centers and other work to Europe, but the primary reason isn't cost. They CAN be cheaper on the face of it but generally once everything is taken into account it's a wash. There are plenty of other good reasons to do it however. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Hey - it seems to be working for me? http://www.skydiveauckland.com/ Some of my friends jump up at Parakai - they do a fair amount of 4-way and bits and pieces there I think. The one time I went it seemed a nice crowd. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Sounds like you were pretty unlucky. From years spent going to Europe, its no better or worse than the US, the UK, NZ or anywhere else. There are areas where people's manner comes across as rude, or at least gruff (Seville comes to mind) but there is a cultural aspect there too in the way you eat. Now if you expected the forced happiness and over the top attention of some of the US restaurants then I can understand why you'd think they were rude. I find overattentiveness as irritating as the opposite. That said, the two worst places I have ever eaten from a service perspective were a cafe in covent garden (london), and a restaurant in arizona. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Yeah true - but I have been to 3 of those 5 - the other 2 are running small cessnas. Nothing wrong with that but if you want an exciting jumping holiday you might be better off looking somewhere else. Of the 3 I have been to, Parakai and Motueka are good, "Taupo Tandem Skydiving" is more of a tandem factory (go figure!). They are totally happy to let you jump but again - don't expect a big sport jumper population (although they do sometimes have a final load of the day with a few of the staff - or at least they did when I went there.) Mark - Remsters link has the ring of truth but is a touch out of date. A lot of the DZ's are tandem factories, particularly the Taupo ones. You will usually get a jump but there won't be much of anything bigger than a 4-way. However there are a couple that do some good sport jumping. Motueka is pretty cool and they have the Good Vibes boogie. I think there are one or two up in Auckland as well that have some reasonable sport jumpers and decent turbines. However, the sport jumper population in NZ is pretty small - most of the jumpers know each other personally so they probably don't hang out on the forums too much. Fine - to both rushmc and his cheerleader. Continue to post articles quoting UKIP and continue to look stupid, as well as being associated with their ideology. I have no problems with that. Never try to eat more than you can lift -
It certainly a possibility. I don't think that they would risk it though given the potential negative publicity of it getting out. Large corporations, (particularly sony!) not known for being terribly good at keeping secrets. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Re UKIP (Nigel Farage's party) they have won a couple of seats around the country by pushing the anti immigration bandwagon, and I think a Tory defected to them in an area where he was a shoo-in as well. However they are starting to attract the same sorts of people as the BNP who generally only open their mouths to change feet, and genuinely are racist, xenophobic, bigoted and sexist, both in terms of followers and of the politicians themselves. This isn't a left vs right thing, its everyone normal vs the genuinely abhorrent. The fact that the daily mail tends to love UKIP should be a good clue..... Never try to eat more than you can lift -
