  1. Having not been through the American schooling system and having my only exposure to frats being from Hollywood I appreciate my viewpoint may be slightly skewed, but are frats purely just a way to be a dick? Never try to eat more than you can lift
  2. Very salient article, particularly if you have kids http://www.thecivilian.co.nz/opinion-the-mating-of-two-wiggles-is-unnatural-and-an-affront-to-family-values/ Never try to eat more than you can lift
  3. Nah - just wasnt that funny. (I agree with you though - the idea of a unified populace is hilarious if you look at speakers corner.) Never try to eat more than you can lift
  4. I would suggest the Constitution. Ok, lets start with the second amendment and see how that goes.... Usually you would start at number one. It's telling that you don't. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  5. Thought we were talking about coffee? Never try to eat more than you can lift
  6. I keep a growler of cold press in the fridge for just that reason. I've been in NZ too long - it needs to be decent espresso for me now. Or occasionally a nice pourover. Getting good results with swissgold filters recently. Heading back to the UK later this year and dreading the coffee shops - I think I may need to invest in one of these: http://londiniumespresso.com/lever-espresso-machines Never try to eat more than you can lift
  7. Is it one of these thingys? >The K-cup coffee and tea cartridges are difficult to recycle because they are made of three materials: a plastic cup, which is lined with a heat-sealed paper filter, plus a polyethylene-coated aluminum foil top. Keurig says the packaging keeps coffee fresh, but the cartridges are not biodegradable. I dislike all those things for two reasons - 1. SO MUCH PACKAGING its actually outrageous how unsustainable they are. 2. Coffee is average at best. But Champu sounded like he needed some special help. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  8. Ah - I thought so! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  9. Sounds like you need a Keurig/nespresso to get the first shot of caffeine, so you are then coherent enough to brew yourself a decent coffee! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  10. And if you think we're paralyzed now, wait until these wannabes snake their way into office.... Blah blah fucking blah - kids of today etc. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  11. Also - I think there should be an official category of verdict that reads "Dismissed because you are an idiot." Never try to eat more than you can lift
  12. I'd say this case is pretty comparable to that. Fortunately however, was thrown out by the court AND the appeals court. I have no problem with people suing for anything, as long as they end up getting charged the costs if its a dumbass lawsuit like this one. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  13. The sort of music they play in hell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iU2hy0L5lgg Which, incidentally, is genius Never try to eat more than you can lift
  14. Not disagreeing per se - but is it "procedure" or just tradition? If its just tradition then I have no issue with it. Sing a song, do a Haka, whatever you like before the session. Actually, I reckon all councils would be improved if each councillor had to do a party piece before it started. If its procedure (i.e. nothing will get done without the prayer) then yep - totally agree. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  15. Hehe - sorry, I meant the movie. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  16. The only other pic I could find. I hope they let the guy sitting in it out first? Never try to eat more than you can lift
  17. Hmmm. From my experience, Australia and New Zealand are pretty easy to get into as long as you have a) A useful skill on the skilled migrant list. b) a Decent level of education c) the hygiene factors - not too old, in good health, english speaking. If you don't have those three things - you probably don't have the right to be here. It is a LOT of bloody paperwork though. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  18. Agree. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  19. No, but I trust Israel about the same amount, along with the US. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  20. Was it definitely feet? Or just 300? If it was metres that's pretty doable. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  21. So you have nothing. He MAY have been addicted to PCP or a whole load of other drugs. He may also have been mentally ill. If thats the case - then yes there may well be mitigating circumstances. However all we know so far is: There was a struggle with the homeless man (Bad on his part) He may have obtained one of the officers weapons (also Bad on his part, potentially because of impaired judgement/ stupidity/ mental illness but also incompetence on the part of the officer.) No-one has mentioned superhuman manic strength. So at the moment, if the officer was more competent, the victim would probably still be alive. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  22. ZERO evidence that is the case here. His point stands. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  23. So the guy was doing PCP? My my your crystal ball is effective. It's never stopped you either. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  24. You are probably right. I strongly suspect he'll get to the part where he has to disclose his finances and wuss out. Never try to eat more than you can lift
