I have been told that an armed society is a polite society. If it is so polite, why do Americans keep killing eachother at alarming rates. it's just because it's not armed ENOUGH! Duh - its obvious isn't it?! (What's worrying is that there are people on this forum who are actually dumb enough to think that's true.) Never try to eat more than you can lift

fair points all. Never try to eat more than you can lift

I think actually in this case if the guy WASN'T a mall cop, I have less of a problem with it. As a mall cop, he is in a position of "authority" and by definition in this case he is abusing it. Regardless, I'd still help defend my hypothetical son (I have one, but he's only 1, not 15!) given that he was being "chastized" by someone who should know better, he's a minor, and might be quite intimidated by an adult having a go at him. If someone feels they have the right to chastize my son for a clothing choice I'm going to tell them where to go whether they are a mall cop or not. The mall cop should be off doing something useful. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Don't necessarily disagree. Unfortunately it seems she's still the best of a bad bunch on both sides of the aisle. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Don't let him fool you - Claudio is a damn good rider in his own right, but his course previews are the best thing about the downhill world cups. Watch some of the ones from last year - people have started to get into the habit of mooning him when he is doing these - quite a lot! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Well now... If you're bbqing in the UK and you want to do it more frequently than the 2 sunny days a year we usually get you're going to need to learn a new set of grilling skills. Brits are world champions at bbqing in heavy rain and driving wind... Get an oversize golf umbrella and pick your spot to grill to minimize the wind!

Thanks all. I'm moving back to the UK from NZ where I have BBQ'd breakfast and dinner just about every day this year on my gas burner. I saw a traeger at a agri show recently and thought it looked like a nice option to give a bit more of that wood taste without the time spent getting a weber or similar up to temp. I'll maybe try and see if I can get a go on a pellet grill - it needs to be able to get hot for bbqing as well as just smoking. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Just to really confuse you, these are three different things Good explanation here: Never try to eat more than you can lift

Exactly right. (It still wouldn't be OK, but at least it wouldn't be so transparently homophobic) Never try to eat more than you can lift

One area we totally agree. And i'd go with the raw stupidity angle! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz wanted everyone to remember him

Why is this thread even still going? It was Godwin'd by the OP which tells you all you need to know. Never try to eat more than you can lift -
We are already at that point. 97% of scientists agree on that. Never try to eat more than you can lift

You get a shitload more of that with paragliding, without the close proximity to hard stuff. Just saying. Also, speedflying canopies and skydiving canopies have behavioural differences that pilots should be aware of (with some exceptions). Having the wing above your head doesn't mitigate risk, it just changes what the predominant risks are. That said, can't disagree with the fact that both paragliding and its offspring, speedflying are a lot of fun. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Is Oklahoma destined to be the new Mississippi?

Georgia called the bluff though - http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2015/03/27/georgia_legislators_admit_religious_liberty_bill_is_about_discrimination.html Nice to see it was a Republican who exposed the truth of the "religious liberty" nonsense. Never try to eat more than you can lift -
Couldn't agree more. And they are all as certain as each other which is what makes them ALL nonsense. ETA: Except Jedi - that's kinda cool. Never try to eat more than you can lift

True - if this got through Congress and the Senate, the republicans might actually be able to convince people they are interested in upholding the constitution. Never try to eat more than you can lift
