First off, I hope you read Skymammas post. She wrote it much nicer than I. This is a post to celebrate Shannons life and to honor her memory. Second, we most surely do care but it is really none of our business, that is family business. Third, STFU and keep your negative crap out of this post. Rest In Peace Shannon, We miss you Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

US dropzones with PAC 750's?
Feeblemind replied to Dumpster's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Has the PAC lived up to expectations? Depends on what your personal expectations are. If fuel efficient, fast to altitude and lower maintenance are your concerns then yes it has. With 15 in the plane it can be a wee bit cramped, Door is not as big as an Otters and is also a little lower (after 3 or 4 jumps you get used to it), and there is a little bit more prop blast (not as much as a KA or other low wing jump planes). Davis just took delievery of their second Pac. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked -

I use a modified pro/Psyco pack. I put it on the ground just like a pro pack, but where most folks "S" fold I roll it. Works like a champ. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

I have a friend that did it in a weekend. He and his friend got the itch to learn to skydive. Did their AFF and all coach jumps in a weekend so they could make at least one jump together before the weekend was over. After the last jump the DZ folks met them in the landing area so they could drop their rental gear and haul ass to the airport to return home. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

Pie for 500?? I thought the Pie rules were for adding zeros i.e. 100, 1000, and every 1000 there after. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

Well the other day without any fanfare I made my 500th skydive (I did outside video of friends freeflying). During the evening I took some to reflect back on my last 14 months in sport. Eddie - Thanks for everything, I don't have time to go into greater detail (it would just take forever to type it all). Kieth - What a great friend and mentor you are. Even though you were not my primary instructor you have always been there for me when I had a question. You re-enforced Eddie's instruction and added some things of you own. It is great having a friend like you in sport and life in general. Lisa - OMG where do I even start?! I guess the two things that constantly remind me of you is gear selection and landing patterns. You give freely back to the sport with your your knowledge of gear and also provide information to us newbies on landing patterns. I find that even though I am now a coach I am occasionally approached regardning landing patterns. I do my best to relay the information that was provided to me, but I often refer alot of folks to talk to you or kieth ( why just get a coaches opinion, when you can talk to a professor) Guano/Groovalicious - thanks for all the coaching and fun jumps, again I really can't spend the amount of time needed to type out my thanks. Perry/Zinda - The happiest folks on the DZ!! You two are just plain awesome. Weakmindedfool - you're an ASS!! If you would not have made me go on that damn tandem I would have and addional $18,000 in the bank!! But damn I sure am having a good time spending my children's inheritance. Beth - The best damn rack (Ver. 2.0) on the DZ!!! To all those friends I missed, don't take it personal as I am at work and need to go. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

I have the same disease. There is no cure. Well, there is treatment here... http://viper-aircraft.com/homepage.htm ANother more affordable option is to come to the American Boogie in Davis, June 22-25. Bob will be selling rides in his P-51 and his Jet (I will post the make later, but it is a fighter trainer) and here... http://www.avtechgroup.com/events.asp?sub=pressreleases ... that is, of course, if you can AFFORD the treatment I can't... yet. Another Option is to come to the American Boogie in Davis (June 22-25) and come ride with VooDoo racing www.voodooairracing.com/ in either the P-51 or the L-39.
