  11. Awful!! I have to take my loyal friend for the past 15 years to the vet today for his last visit. He has been a true companion, helped raise my two kids, and been an all around great dog. I now have to be a responsible owner and end his suffering. I will truly miss him greeting me at the door like he has for the last 15 years, the barking when the doorbell rings, but most of all I will miss the sparkle in his eyes while he sat as I scratched his head. Today really sucks ass!! Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

  15. As a good friend described it to me, the DZ and the sky is "my happy place". Leave all your stress and other life related B.S. in the car and go relax with you friends. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked
  16. What were trying to relay to you is that conditions in a fire change rapidly. What you see as "a Chance to go back in" will most likely result a chance for the individual to visit the hospital or Morge. You are saying I am taking this to literally. Well, yes I am. You started the thread and folks are reading it. Another part of my job is to educate whether it is at a school full of 5 year olds or here. 18. Okay, Now I have to chime in and be the asshole here. Hopefully you took the above mentioned items on your way out of the house after you smoke detector notified you about the fire. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, go back into a burning house once you have gotten out safely. People re-entering burning structure fires are one of the number one causes of fire related DEATHS!! Let us do our job which is to protect life and property, instead of making us have to rescue your butt. The time we spend performing a rescue is time lost for fire extinguishment and property preservation. Be smart, stay alive and don't become a statistic. Risking Life and Limb is my and many other trained individuals job, let us do it with the proper equipment so we can be effective. If you have items that are considered priceless (especially photos) spend a few bucks and get them reproduced. Display the reproductions and store the originals in a safety deposit box or fire safe. Edited to add: as you are exiting the home close all doors as you go, this will limit the spread of the fire and reduce it's intensity. Also, a fire triples in size for every minute it burns. Smoke from burning home furnishings (i.e. plastic and foam) is extremely toxic and last but not least the carbon monoxide that is present in every structure fire (thus the reason we wear self contained breathing apparatus). It's hard to watch you home and memories destroyed, but I would rather have you emotionally devastated instead of arriving to hear your kids screaming "MY DADDY"S IN THERE, HE WENT IN FOR THE PHOTO ALBUM!!!" and having them see us bringing your charred, lifeless body from the burning building they called home. 19. Well they have the nylon city packing area so I would spend time with my kids while I was being packed and waiting for the next load if I had mine with me. There is lots of open area you can play catch in etc. My kids enjoy the DZ so they entertain themselves quite well. If yours want to be doing other things it might make t difficult. 20. Yep I have had the painful top teeth catching the tip Despite numerous attempts to correct the reoccuring teeth scrapping sensation with verbal coaching she just wasn't correcting the error. I figured enough foreplay and we moved on to other options that were not painful. Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked

  24. I would say it truly depends on what the applications are that you plan on using it for? If you are into graphic design and video editing a Mac is definately the way to go. If you do alot of accounting or using of products such as Word and Excel. I would go PC. If you do both and are also a gamer I like the new top of the line dell's and I also believe alienware builds a smoking laoptop now also. Goodluck, Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked
  25. Today I was fortunate enough to vidiot a person I call "A great Friend" 4000th skydive. I would say it was safe to assume I was by far the junior jumper on the load and was it ever a great experience. I got to see a friend and mentor have an awesome fun jump with 11 of his friends. During this jump he was neither a coach, AFF-I, Master rigger or S T & A. He planned the dive and we dove the plan. It was awesome to see this individual with a smile on his face as he did a 360 surrounded by friends that were all gald to be jumping with someone we all call "Friend" To my good buddy and mentor I raise my , Salute!!
