  1. I'll almost definitely be at Sky Knights at least one of those days - My daughter Sarah may be spending the day doing video of landings. Easy Does It
  2. What about Felicity Kendall? Easy Does It
  3. All together now--- HIM! HIM!! . . . Easy Does It
  4. 0:7:0 Three on Saturday, 4-way team training jumps, 3 more 4-ways today and one 7-way whaddafuck jump- Best one of the day, and the first jump in a while that wasn't centered on 4-way flat flying. I really needed that jump! Didn't party down as much as I thought I would last nite, but helped float a keg anyway-- Easy Does It
  5. Dental floss? Transmission fluid? Credit card? Logbook? Pullup cord? 90w gear oil? (alternative to other lubricants-) Easy Does It
  6. Oh yes- Quite aware of that, and I'm sure she'll have fun, in Reno, with a bunch of other women - No doubt they'll get into some mischief!! Easy Does It
  7. < 50 jumps here- around 25 or so- (Don't have my logbook handy-) Still jumping it - Went directly from the big Mantas to a Spectre 150 (1.2-1.3-)- I do NOT endorse that kind of rapid downsizing to anyone!! It was the right deal at the right time, and I couldn't justify 20 bucks a pop for rental gear to myself. Easy Does It
  8. Hinckley=Chicagoland Skydiving, in Illinois, not far from Chicago. We've got a roomate, who is pretty much a house mouse, but I just need to be sure he'll be around to care for Kiko, the "Mutt Princess". Easy Does It
  9. I'm thinking, drop the little lady off, head back to the house, make sure all is OK and the pooch will be taken care of, assess the weather, and either head to Hinckley and camp out, and be on the first load, or stay local for the night and head out in the AM- Easy Does It
  10. My Dad warned me about playing in muddy water--!! Easy Does It
  11. Absolutely - If I felt I had to take a life, it would probably be with a gun- So I would prefer my own execution to be the same. But I like to think if I felt I had to take a life, it would be justifiable. And that would be up to the courts- Easy Does It
  12. It's always fun to talk tough- - - In all reality it'll probably be alot of jumping and a little more partying than usual-- Easy Does It
  13. And she'll be very much in another time zone! And zip code, and area code, ----- Easy Does It
  14. If you do the crime, you do the time- I'd take the bullet, stand up and take it like I'd deserve it. Easy Does It

    Yes! Yes! Yes!

Dude! I'll be at Sky Knights Saturday, and quite probably Hinckley on Monday - Maybe even camping out there Sunday night, if there's anything going on- I'm thinking the rest of the team may be there, too- wadda ya say? Easy Does It
  16. You got it, bro! Easy Does It
  17. Oh please share! After all, they are only suggestions, right? Easy Does It
  18. The mouse will play!! OK - here's the poop! By now, a few of you know I'm married to a ground-huging whuffo, who nearly never comes to the DZ (Twice last year and when asked, said she probably won't come at all this year - "too boring" - wtf??) Anyways, she's headed off to Reno for the WIBC Nationals on Sunday and won't be back until Wednesday. So, I've got a couple days "off", so to speak- Now, keep in mind I'm not suggesting I be a really bad boy here- - But, I've got from Sunday around Noon until work Tuesday AM free, (have to go back to work-) Any suggestions? I'm already planning on jumping my ass off during the day- Perhaps a trip to Hinckley is in order- I haven't been there since my beer tandem jump in 2000 -- LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!! Easy Does It
  19. MSN at work - DZ.com at home- 'nuff said- Easy Does It
  20. Man- I think things have changed quite a bit since I was into rockets- ( about 25 years ago--) Estes had just come out with the "D" engine- That was the big one at the time- Centauri was still in business- Mail-order was the way to go for kids like me who lived in the boonies - no "real" hobby shops for 100 miles- I should take a trip with the kids on thier next visit out this way-- Easy Does It
  21. That is one SWEET flame job, man! I like the trick valve covers too.. Easy Does It
  22. 0:4:0 Didn't get to Sky Knights until Sunday - Missed Ladyskydivers' pie (100th) and a helluva party - Team jumps with Lem coaching - We're improving, and Lem has been absolutely fantasic! Met Chop Chop - who was more than helpful for flying video for us- HIM! HIM! FUCK HIM! Tip' o the lid to ZeroG and Ladyskydiver! Easy Does It
  23. What a schmuck- I've been driving standards for many years- And I still have a satndard. And of course the Sporty is a standard, too. I usually put it in neutral at lights, unless I know it's gonna be a short one- Extends the life of the throwout bearing. On the bike, it's easier on the muscles in my left hand and fore arm. The yutz in the LUV had no other explanation for a dumb mistake. He took his foot off the clutch without being in neutral. OOOPS! Guess what dude, you must now pay the price for not keeping your wits about you! Easy Does It
  24. Y'know, pipe fittings available at any hardware store, can be quickly and easily made into about any combination and used to smoke anything- When I was a kid we called 'em "Plumbers' pipes" -- You make a good point - Unless there is evidence it has been used, it's nothing but an object- Nothin but a brass 90 deg. street elbow-- From what I understand, 1/4" drive deepwell sockets make for popular paraphernalia- We better shut down Sears, and Snap-on, etc--- Easy Does It
  25. Reminds of when I was working an assembly line on third shift - The shift started at 11:30 and first break was at 2:00. I looked at the clock at just after midnite - At 2:00 the break bell sounded - I don't remember a thing for that whole two hours - My brain was coasting in neutral and the rest of my body was on autopilot. Gives a whole new meaning to the term "mind-numbing". I was making $6.50 an hour for that. Pretty good cash back in 1984- Easy Does It
