I haven't jumped one, I think they are pretty popular in Europe. I had a friend on the Danish team @ WAG last year and I know that was the suit they used. The ones I've seen look nice and they apparently hold up through seasons of 4way training, that has to stand for something!

speaking of static line stories, here's a classic one. some girl at my old DZ had never been around static line. when chatting with someone who was an SL instructor, she commented that "there must be different lengths of ropes for the different time delays in SL." ie there was a 5 sec rope, longer 10 sec rope... you get the idea. she was mortified with the fact that he 60 sec rope may get tabgled up b/c it's too long and that SL students never got to pull for themselves...

clowns is an understatement. There's a reason I travel 1300 miles to the FF Jams regardless of weather... and I'm not even a freeflier!!!!! -
the standards of course- active runway cars- funny about one auto incident. @ a DZ for a boogie, wandered off. got a little involved in the car, apparentely people noticed. in line for the shower hte next day soem random person taps me on teh shoulder and asked if i was hte chick in taht car over there (poitning to said vehicle)... oops. a plane or 2 tents (apparently they aren't very well insulated for sound) across the hall from my parents it's late. i'll have to think of more.

I've got an '01 Elantra. I love it. I drove a friend's '02 civic last weekend and was not impressed, it felt like a tin can compared to my car. i can't explain this, i know nothing about cars except how to check my oil and make it drive. the service package that comes with teh new elantra's are sweet too.

the only times i've passed out have nothing to do with stress. i was diagnosed with exhaustion twice during college and residency, and got some pretty cool meds to get me on a normal schdeule again, as my body had no clue when to sleep or wake up, it was the strangest thign ever....

i wished i had some long undies last weekend. that 65 degrees was a tad chilly for me. YIKES! and some extremely funny person asked seriously if I was coming to freeze fest and got offended when i laughed and said no way!

oh my you have NO idea how hard I'm laughing right now... harder than when we were watching you guys pack for us last summer @ chambersburg. such kindhearted gentlemen.... (even if some of you didn't understand the concept of 7 cell mains...)

13 beers drank on Saturday by me alone:1:0 crappy weather at the monkey jam but that made for early beer lights. watchign knee boarding on teh pond was entertaining, as well as seeign dear friends with horrid mullett hair cuts. the potato gun and moving targets/cars were fun for a short time...

I started with no booties. seemed alright. Then I got my suti with regular booties, what a difference, much more in place, quickler sharper moves and tracking was def. more fun! THEN i got my comp suit from Bev. MEGA BOOTIES!!!! now those, my friends, rock. it's like having solid rudders on your feet.

no way. I had a brand new townhouse that was quite nice, lived 5 minutes from the DZ and 15 from Philly. I quite liked where I lived. Now exit 2, that's some country town for you. I think they just got electricity on that exit....

there's plenty of belly flying at sebastian. i happen to belly fly there a lot. Lyle and XL organize all the time, Roger Ponce visits in the winter, 7L trains there (as well as XL)... sounds like some belly flyin' to me!!!

we had a nasty storm in Jupiter/Gardens this afternoon. I thought my car got struck by lightning. It is fun to watch the old people on 95 drive in storms though.

i wouldn't mind splitting some, i'm 2 hours out though (2 hour drive), if the flight time is 8 or later email me asap and i'll drive up. i'll fly 15-30 mins stacy
