Read it. I like the tools to help you focus on "your most important goals" and I use the Imaging alot. Even the chapters on team training did a lot for me during dirt dives and debriefs. Lots of psycho-babble in there, just skip over those parts. If you haven't read " The Art of Freefall Relative Work" by Pat Works, it's and oldie but a goodie. (yeah, chicago...I know I can't spell) Fly Your Slot !

Long story short, I finally TOTAL dumped by whuffo ole man and moved in with my JumperBoyToy. Having a blast but I hate moving. House is great (we are in Friendswood). And there is no possible way that I could be any happier. Should have done this YEARS AGO. Kids (7 & 14) are fine with everything. I get this excited feeling and a big smile when we are together (kinda like a skydive).... Wish us lots of love and luck on our new Family (Houston stay tuned for Housewarming Party.) Paula P.S. I miss my friends at SDH, tell Brit and Derik and Justin and everyone I said high, shit, maybe I can even talk Mikie into making a trip up there. I'd love to run into Chuck and Dee (and Kelli) ....but like spacie is 30 minutes and SDH is about 90 minutes. Tell all I said HI and remember to remind us "it's this weekend" when you go. We talked about it and all agreed, We would rather have the record respected as "Official", - by verifying all participants were registered 'PRIOR TO SATURDAY' than sign people up at the last minute just to be "on the load" I was even asked, "can I sign up tonight to make the record tomarrow" and told more than one person, sorry. I trust and respect alot of skydivers whom I've become familiar with on this forum. (kiss kiss) In other words, WE DIDN'T CHEAT! I'll betcha you have some new members this week though! It was great exposure for both Spaceland and Dropzone.com. Fly Your Slot !

Im was having a similar leg problem. I had my arms out so far, in a "huge the beachball" shape (trying not to GO LOW) that I compensated for the arms by more legs. Well, when I reached in for a grip, my legs were so far out that I got instant forward drive, hince - hard docks. So now, I dirt dive and mental image pulling my arms in between every point. The side effect is, I keep letting go of grips that should be piecemoves..... If you guys do a lot of two ways (duhhh) one lay base and the other fly, then switch! Learning to sit still is just as hard as learning to fly! Like my tag says.... Fly Your Slot !

Nope. No level 2. Funny, the JM was laughing...said " I didn't even have to ask 'Are you ready to Skydive' ... didn't matter, it was an aircraft emergency and he had no choice. Pour dude had to jump. Fly Your Slot !

Needless to say, after two SCR's , the DZ.Com record, a 3 stack and a 3 point 20 way, that premature deployment wrapped me up for the weekend. I was DONE!! Fly Your Slot !

One time (at band camp) They lost electrical on jump run in a queenair and couldn't cut. Not quit the airspeed you guys are talking about, but they had an AFF1 on the load. One JM blocked the wind (well tried to) and they lost the student on exit. Ended up ok ... plane had to circle out the fuel and belly in. Poor Beumont ... miss that queenair don't cha! About 5 weeks ago, my boyfriend cut away his Stilleto 120 and it was lost in the woods. He bought a new one. Sunday it was found. It was in a tree, no holes, looks good , a few sunspots but passed the tear test (and it was tested HARD by multiple riggers) . We had 3 riggers jumping at the DZ look at it, consensus was it was in fine shape, just subtract about 200 jumps from the lifespan for the sunspots. - It was jumped 3 times, flew great. Just smells a little moldy. He wants to know if I want the canopy. We'll I do......but the question is.... I was thinking send it to PD for full inspect. (they will probably try to sell me new two new panels where the sunspots are) The other train of thought was, If I trust my rigger, why bother. What would you do? Fly Your Slot !

It's not as "mishapped" as cutaways and wraps, but on the last load yesterday, we were on an 8 way going to the last point at about 5,000ft and the guy who was "supposed" to take my leg grip grabbed my hackey...!! Freaky!! I felt the bag come off my back ...weird feeling when your not ready for it! Luckily I was on the front of a zipper and didn't kick anyone. He bought me a case of beer (green bottles) and he felt sooo bad. But, things happen...I was ok ... and I wouldve been REALLY PISSED if it happend at 12,000 instead of 5,000. You gotta be ready for ANYTHING TO HAPPEN when your skydiving! Fly Your Slot !

It was awesome meeting everyone! Thanks sooo much for the jumps this weekend I had a blast. Merrick and Pammi (who are probably STILL driving home) are the sweetest. Chicago- I think you got a view ! Larry and everyone else, thanks for visiting our DZ. What a party. I loved pouring beer on you guys! I hope the load organizing and jumps were good. Hopefully everyone learned and went home with some good vibes and good feedback on skills you can work on at home. Most impressive was the freefly guys. They rocked on their bellies! We tied the record with a 5 way on saturday then got a bigger way on Sunday. I had an awesome weekend!! Fly Your Slot !

Don't think Im ready for 16 way sequential, but a SCR I can handle. No Problemo!! From Experience I have learned that it's not a good idea to try and get TWO PEOPLE their SCR on the same skydive. Ill be happy to help with as many SCR's as need them-but let's do them smart, get some talent on the loads and get them on the first try. For the DZ.com record - Im assuming this isn't scr rules (freeflown exits). I'd really like to lauch something with the freeflyers to make sure we start out stable. - Is this acceptable? As long as we hold our formation for 3 (three??) seconds? Fly Your Slot !
