Not too far away, the city of Clute holds their annual MOSQUITO FESTIVAL. Maybe it has something to do with the surrounding rice farms. - trying to cook at the drop zone... hmmm.... Fly Your Slot !

Cortesy: Omniscore They took 5th. So far, our Spaceland Medals are: Deguello - 3rd place Open Class in 16 way Eric Boyd - 2nd place, Intermediate for Freefly Tom Morrison - 3rd place, Open Class for Skysurfing Josh Hill, 3rd place, Intermediate Class, 4 way video So far, I count 20 medals coming back to Spaceland. Excellent! Our home boys (and chicks) ... Christy started out coaching them then took the slot. Way cool for the team. Noticed there were a lot of "line" type formations in the divepool, lots of Caterpillars, snowflakes - the blocks didn't look so bad. Fly Your Slot !

I didn't know Eric went. Wow, not a bad showing- besides Round 1 and Round 6, the scores were pretty close. Sonic Tom and Chris looks like he had a rough round 5, from a 8.2 to a 3.9. They were hanging in good till then. Poor Deguello....they're running a 3.5 average on 16 way (compared to 11.5 & 11 by Airspeed and the Knights) They got a lotta guts, being a weekend team PLAYIN WITH THE BIG BOYS! Fly Your Slot !

Last weekend for DayLight Savings. Shorter Jump Days Looks like my Fridays are screwed up. Wont be able to work half day then go get some jumps in. Have to take ALL DAY FRIDAY OFF!! We did an All Womens SCR 9 way last weekend. I hear they have an award for ALL WOMENS 20 way. Im not an Adventure Girl like you...Texas is a big state. Someday Ill make it up to your neck of the woods. Fly Your Slot !

I've become an Omniscore Junkie and 4 way and 8 way are complete. Spaceland Home Teams: Deguello - Took 5th in the Open Class with 71. First place was Airspeed 8 with 182 and Golden Knights Second with 155. 16 way just started. Go Deguello!! Otter Limits 4way - Tied for 14th in the Intermediate class with 56. 4 in Relations from Skydive Houston got 10th with 62. Skysurfing Team Spaceland TX is currently on Round 4 and in 3rd place in Open Class. If your dz has a Home Team at Nationals, tell us how they are doing.. Blue Skies, Paula Fly Your Slot !

Ok, Alamo City. I know them. They've been open for awhile, but only as a cenna drop zone. My old DZ Manager, Rick, went to work for them for awhile but got frustrated when they didn't get a turbine in a resonable time. Be nice to have another Turbine DZ around. Blue Skies... Fly Your Slot !

Ive been down for two weeks, my 13 year old son broke his Femur playing soccer. Ive discovered that broken femur's are not fun, and my son should never try skydiving (if he can break a femur playing SOCCER of all things...) Im jumping tomarrow, but I still have these sick butterflies thinking about the hospital, the surgery, that external fixator and THE PAIN. He does understand fully that if I ever break a bone, he owes me big time. Oh, will tomarrow ever come...... Fly Your Slot !

there's nothing like the feeling of nailing the exit, and you know the skydives gonna rock, and that second time through the dive you get faster..and by the time your on the third time round you have a huge grin then your ditters going off, but your going to finish that last block...wheh, I need to jump!
