  1. The problem is that the right confuses the center with the left. Anyone left of Bush is considered liberal, even though he is an extreme right wing neo-con. Most people, and most news organizations, including NPR, fall within the center. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  3. Thanks. I will pass the info on. IMO it's still a good idea even if he can't sell back power, considering the short time it would take to offset cost with savings. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  4. No, That is not what I said. Nobody would get anything for free Think of it as society cosigning a loan that will be invested in a matter as to virtually guarantee a boost in lifetime earning potential. We already have several smaller systems in place, such as the Pell Grant program, or the GI Bill. Generalizing such programs so that they apply to all citizens helps eliminate loopholes, and allows administration to be more efficient. So more students get assistance with each dollar spent. Quite simply, education and knowledge is the key to the future. If we think we can continue keeping education low on our list of priorities that every citizen should have access to, we will be unable to maintain economic superiority through this century. To think otherwise, I believe is terribly shortsided. We have to think ahead to the next several decades, and not just the next several years. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! 5. Do you have any general information on selling back power to power companies? Does anyone know if the minimum generated varies from company to company, or state to state, or is it pretty much the same all over the country (US)? Also, does anyone know how these modifications affect home value? The house in question is in central florida. One of my friends is seriously considering making this modification to his house, but his justification was that it could pay for itself in power sell back. Math tutoring available. 6. Clinton was not a great President, but he was not a bad president. He will, on the other hand, go down in history as a great president, because of the stark contrast between him and the men who preceeded and succeeded him. In other words, because he was sandwiched between to Presidents Bush. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

  8. As far as I am concerned, the Oklahoma City bombing was a disrespectful demonstration. Merely showing discontent with one's government by desecrating the flag is a far cry from disrespectful to the country. Do we no promote peaceful demonstration any longer? To be honest, so does your response. If you don't mind me asking, why would you put a single nation ahead of the entire world? That seems counterintuitive to one who believes in democracy. 10. The other side of that coin is that disrespect to the flag does not imply disrespect to the country. Personally, I'm a world citizen first, and a US citizen second. 11. I guess if you completely disregard Shrub's (many) failures on that day and the ones that led up to it, then you could blame it on Clinton. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!
  12. That's similar what the military and its civilian support (government servants) is, right now. Granted, the entrance into the system is a little different, but the practices are very similar. Soldiers interact well in capitalist society. If we offered a similar system, but with education that has civilian world application, it would likely be very successful. Math tutoring available. 15. Send info, as long as its not miliatary. PM me. Not playing victim. I just see ashortcoming and very inefficient use of taxdollars that could be saved an utilized for more productive purposes. As far as reducing the deficit, we had a balanced budget during the Clinton years, so if that is a goal, perhaps you should consider Hillary in 2008. After all, only Reagan Bush and Bush have allowed non-interest contributions to the national debt. (that is to say they increased the debt) Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! 17. I am not trying to debate that driving stoned is a good idea. I am saying that the fears of driving under the influence of THC are, for the most part, unwarranted. I don't know, and don't want to know, if you have ever experienced a full dose of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), but anyone who tells you they feel safer driving on acid as opposed to after smoking some pot, has never experienced the effects of LSD. According to research of first hand accounts, it is an extremely powerful hallucinagen, and visual perceptions are highly distorted. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! 18. While I could not find that perticular study, here is a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which says essentially the same thing (about the actual effects vs. the publicly perceived effects of driving under the influence of THC) "Marijuana's effects on driving performance were compared to those of many other drugs. It was concluded that THC's effects after doses up to 300 mcg / kg [This represents smoking a large recreational dose of marijuana. --jcd11235] never exceed alcohol's at BAC's of 0.08 g %; and were in no way unusual compared to many medicinal drugs'. Yet THC's effects differ qualitatively from many other drugs, especially alcohol. Evidence from the present and previous studies stronly suggests that alcohol encourages risky driving whereas THC encourages greater caution, at least in experiments. Another way THC seems to differ qualitatively from many other drugs is that the former's users seem better able to compensate for its adverse effects while driving under the influence. Still one can easily imagine situations where the influence of marijuana smoking might have an exceedingly dangerous effect; i.e., emergency situations which put high demands on the driver's information processing capacity, prolonged monotonous driving, and after THC has been taken with other drugs, especially alcohol." And From New Scientist: "A single glass of wine will impair your driving more than smoking a joint. And under certain test conditions, the complex way alcohol and cannabis combine to affect driving behaviour suggests that someone who has taken both may drive less recklessly than a person who is simply drunk."

  24. Didn't you know he is one of our CIA's finest creations? ":NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 1998 — At the CIA, it happens often enough to have a code name: Blowback. Simply defined, this is the term that describes an agent, an operative or an operation that has turned on its creators. Osama bin Laden, our new public enemy Number 1, is the personification of blowback. And the fact that he is viewed as a hero by millions in the Islamic world proves again the old adage: Reap what you sow." http://www.msnbc.com/news/190144.asp?cp1=1 or " Born in Saudi Arabia to a Yemeni family, Bin Laden left Saudi Arabia in 1979 to fight against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. The Afghan jihad was backed with American dollars and had the blessing of the governments of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He received security training from the CIA itself, according to Middle Eastern analyst Hazhir Teimourian." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/155236.stm or Well, you get the idea.
