Years ago, when an El Camino would drive by, my dad would roll down the window and yell.... "If you want a car, buy a car! If you want a truck, buy a truck!" If you want a bike, buy a bike! Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

If the judge rules against Kimmy and her merry band of nutjobs, what's next? This would not be the first defeat this group has encountered. What is the next avenue for them to take to harass Mile High? My other questions; Is there a counter suit? Will there be a counter suit? And, how do I donate to that legal fund? If you're heading west out of Chicago, be sure to stop at East Troy, 7 Hills, Lake Wissota, and Skydive Twin Cities. All are populated with jump planes and some of the best people you'll find anywhere. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

Yes... I did! I still like this team. Their fast and have heart. It all comes down to the goalie.... Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

From the article... "Ingrid Moore, who lives near the airport and is a Citizens for Quiet Skies supporter, seconded Gibbs' opinion. Although Ingrid Moore is married to Council Member Jeff Moore, she wanted it made clear she was speaking only for herself." and, I' sure Kimmy didn't recruit Ingrid because of her connection to the council member. The article also states that Kimmy wants the DZ to become a better neighbor. How about Kimmy learns to become a more tolerant neighbor? Stop bitching about Mile High from Florida. Skydiving with tinnitus?

Hope this (attached) will help. This was printed in Parachutist a few years back... The part I find most distressing deals with the low frequency noise like airplane engines produce. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
I'm having a good (and bad) time watching the Wild/Blues series. Brilliant one night, dismal the next. But, I've not watched much hockey since the North Stars moved to Texas. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

Just saw the movie last night.... Yep, that was Carl. They did a nice job of portraying a legend/innovator in our sport and BASE. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
That "personal attack" is completely out of order. Just because it's true does not make it ok. I think you owe beer for that comment. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

Back when I started jumping, I was only 18 with no fake... Uhmmm? Back when I started jumping the legal drinking age was 18. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

No, an arbitrary number is 70593. If a number is based on something, it's not arbitrary. It's an understandable simplification, since if you get to 200 jumps without meeting the qualifications for a C license, you probably have much bigger problems than not being ready to fly a camera. Plus, experienced (Thousands of jumps) instructors have had an eye on you if you've earned a C license. A C license demonstrates some level of proficiency. 200 jumps....not so much? A couple of gallons of vanilla ice cream, a case of root beer, a package of red plastic cups and some matching plastic spoons. Instructions.... Put a scoop of Ice Cream into a red plastic cup, fill to brim with Root Beer and serve with a plastic spoon. Hand one to each person you see while exclaiming, "I just made a Fu@&ing skydive!!!!!" That is all....... Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

One small comment... Even us old, fat skydivers read forums. I'm hoping this person is not reading this..... Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
Although the OP's question may well be a "non issue", I think this speaks to a larger issue. What can we do to support the Collegiate Nationals. True, as stated above, Universities are more hesitant to support teams. Thus, we're seeing the nationals turned into a "military" Collegiate (for lack of a better descriptor). I've traveled to several Collegiates recently to do video. My experience has been absolutely positive. But, lately, it's been mostly Army, Navy, Air force, etc. So, is this something USPA can continue to support? Regardless of any age restrictions, USPA members need to have this on their radar. Maybe, it just is what it is and we continue to support it. However, It'd be nice to find a way to bring back the Universities at large. What type of shackles for camera wings?
skyjumpenfool replied to n8cc2peeple's topic in Photography and Video
If you are going to order any new rigs..... I recommend the B-12 snaps on the legs straps. They work great for Wing Attachment. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky." -
This just posted by a RD... Tandems... With the advent of “Tandem Handcam” there has been a focus more on getting the camera shot then following the manufactures rules of executing the proper handles check for that specific system after deployment of their drogue. The S&TA committee proposed to add a BSR to make it mandatory for all tandem instructors make correct system handles check required by manufacture. THIS PASSED AND NOW IT IS A BSR EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY This will have an immediate affect on us videots? Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."
