    I'm a believer, that as we get older, we should begin to UPSIZE our canopies because our bodies are no longer able to take the abuse they did when we were young. Larger canopies are more forgiving! I think this may also hold true for injured bodies. Upsize for a while until your completly healed. -added...     I gave up the sport for many years when my kids were young. Not so much as a result of kids or marriage, but because raising kids is hard work. And, standing next to the "Stupid" is not smart when there's kids counting on you. Now the kids are older and I'm back skyjumpen like a fool. There's no disgrace in prioritizing your life. Just remember that no life decision needs to be permanent. At some point you'll get your life back. The big question will be, do you want it back??     Not very well! For short term applications, you can try spraying the sticker with clear poly or laquer. Most inkjet inks are not very UV friendly. One other trick is to cover them with clear shelf paper. Again, not very durable but good for temporary use. Birdshit & Fools Productions "Son, only two things fall from the sky."

    Unions, like all else, are a good idea until they become too strong. I paid my union over $600.00 this year to get a 2% salary increase over 3 years. I'm not complaining. My union is the reason I make good money with medical benifits, Paid Time Off, etc. I'm just thinking for skydivers, it may or may not be a good idea.     I was new into the sport in those days. El Cap was on my list of things to do. Disrespectful skydivers are responsible for the current state of affairs! Learn from that, please. This petition is a great first step. Go in with a responsible attitude and respect for the parks and we may have a chance. I'm signing.... good luck.     I agree. I had to redesign and remake my entire helmet/box mold to accomadate this plug. Hypoxic.... are you reading this. Please consider redesigning the plug to make it lower profile.

    Just a comment about camera helmet cutaways... I spent hours talking to some very experienced (5,000 or more camera jumps) camera flyers when I decided to start jumping camera. I went thru several rebuilds/modifications to build a good (safe) setup. I posted the build here asking for ideas/advice. It's still not perfect. One suggestion that made me think went something like this.... "It's really hard to cutaway a helmet with a broken neck! Spend your effort in making your helmet as snag proof as possible”. Regardless of your jump #'s or experience. Talk with the experienced (Old Farts if you like) camera flyers. More importantly, LISTEN to them. We have much to learn from them.     My dad has recently suffered some medical setbacks... so, I've been spending my extra time driving 300 miles one way to be with him. That's why I missed this years event. That being said....
